A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women.

It is FORBIDDEN to introduce inside Duomo food, liquids, knifes, ceramic mugs and everything that can be used as blunt weapon.

Kindly consider that after the elevator, there are around 50 stairs in order to reach the top of the Cathedral, and back down at the end of the tour

The tour guide was fantastic and the duomo was stunning on the inside and out. Fair warning, while the elevator takes you partially to the top, there are about 90 stairs to take you to the top level. Once at the top, you will take the stairs down. Don’t wear anything that reveals shoulders or above the knee or you will be asked to purchase a poncho to enter.

The best way to see the Duomo is through an expert's eyes! If you're visiting in summer, go early to beat the heat.

We did the Milan Super Saver: Skip-the-Line Duomo and Rooftop Guided Tour and had an amazing experience! Our guide, Clara, was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also absolutely hilarious. Her energy and sense of humor brought the entire tour to life. We saw other groups looking bored and disengaged—but not ours! Clara kept everyone laughing, learning, and fully engaged from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to get Clara as your guide!
