On arrival that the Air Milford base you will meet your pilot, for a full pre-flight briefing, before embarking on your 35 minuet scenic flight over the Southern Alps, to Milford Sound.

5.00We had an exceptional experience on the Milford Sound Flight and Cruise. The team was highly professional and made sure we had a safe, exciting experience when facing some potential weather concerns. They rerouted our trip to the cruise, which actually allowed us 20+ more minutes of flight time each way (and the flight views are incredible). The cruise was also great - plenty of time to enjoy the area and its unique features. All in all, great value and we would highly recommend this tour for anyone traveling to Queenstown.

5.00This was one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip! The Milford Sound Fly-Cruise-Fly experience was exceptionally well organized from start to finish, with fantastic staff who made everything seamless and enjoyable. The pilots and planes were outstanding! professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. Safety is clearly their top priority, which gave us complete peace of mind while flying over such dramatic scenery. And the views? Simply breathtaking. Soaring over the mountains and fiords, then cruising through Milford Sound itself. it was an unforgettable way to experience one of New Zealand’s most beautiful destinations. Highly recommended!

5.00Awesome experience and best way to see New Zealand with limited time but still capture the amazing feeling and wonder of Milford Sound. Having my son sitting in the front of the plane was amazing as I felt he got to experience the full adventure. It was very special.

5.00The flight and boat ride were amazing. We had fantastic weather for the flight over and back and the waterfalls were flowing freely because of heavy rains just hours before. The communication from Air Milford was excellent and the pilot was great at pointing out points of interest like LOTR filming sites. It couldn't have been better organized and the team couldn't have been more helpful. We had lunch on the boat that included a sandwich, crackers/salami, chips, cookies and an apple. Bring a waterproof/windproof jacket as it is very windy on the water and the weather changes quickly. If you are there and do any walking around you'll need bug spray for the NZ sand flies. We booked our NZ tour through The Road Trip.

5.00Our pilot, Tim Smith, is a very experienced pilot who made us all feel like we were in good hands flying through the mountains. The views from the flight were absolutely manificent. The Cessna was modern and absolutely immaculate. I hope to return someday and try to book a flight were I don't have to photograph through a plexiglass window, but that's just a pipe dream. The boat portion of the tour was excellent, but I'd advise to bring your own lunch. The box lunch was meh and they ran out of coffee.

5.00The cruise was great but we were absolutely blown away by the flight to and from Milford Sound! Antony was an expert flyer and a tremendous narrator of his knowledge of the area. Mind blown! This trip with this outfit is a “must do” for everyone visiting Queenstown.
