5.00Matteo was a fabulous guide! He knew Italian and local history as if he were a professor and told us fascinating stories about Modena and the surrounding areas. He was patient, kind and very enjoyable. We loved the balsamic vinegar tasting and lesson as well as the Parmesan cheese, Lambrusco, and pasta lessons and tastings. It was the perfect overview of Modena! We highly recommend this tour and Matteo.

5.00We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Stefania, was fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Modena, balsamic vinegar and all the local delicacies. We enjoyed several hours of learning, eating and enjoying. She made our tour so pleasant and really took the time to answer our questions. It was our first full day here and it was a great way to start our vacation. I highly recommend this tour and would request Stefania as your guide! Thank you for a lovely few hours.

5.00My husband and I travel to Italy every year. We use VIATOR regularly. Stefania was our guide for MODENA. She was great. We were the only ones with her. She made it seem like we were meeting friends for lunch. She was very informative and took us around as locals. The food was exceptional and the company more so. I would definitely recommend her as a tour guide.

5.00We had a great tour with Ilaria and enjoyed her expert knowledge of the regional Italian delicacies and the delicious food we ate at the food market, the balsamic vinegar store, and several different restaurants she took us to. Thoroughly recommend Ilaria as an excellent food tour guide.

5.00What an amazing tour! Stefania was so incredibly kind, knowledgable and welcoming! I felt so well taken care of, we went to my dream, Bar Tiffany, for the most delicious Gnocco Fritto! I loved the balsamic vinegar tasting, walking through the market and learning about parmigiano reggiano, as well as the fresh tagliatelle with ragu. Stefania answered all my questions, she gave so many fantastic recommendations and shared recipes and stories. A tour of Modena with her is a must!

5.00Had a very pleasant evening eating local food with Ilaria. We tried the balsamic vinegars, cured meats and aperitivo, pasta and gelato. The food was great and it was lovely chatting with Ilaria to learn more about the local cuisine and culture.

5.00We did this tour with Stefania yesterday and it was the best food and highlights walking tour we have done (and we've done a few in many different countries!) Stefania was so passionate and knowledgeable about the food, history and culture of both Modena and the Emilia Romagna region. She showed us a number of the main cultural highlights of Modena and also told us of other places we could visit after the tour if we had time. We tasted balsamic vinegar from a local producer and learnt about why this vinegar is so special. We then went to the markets and saw all of the local produce as well as sampling some local wine and meats. Stefania then took us to a restaurant where we had some delicious pasta with traditional meat ragu. Unfortunately the tour had to finish, but not before we had some delicious local gelato. We thoroughly recommend Stefania and her tour of the food and highlights of Modena.
