Gunung Leuser National Park
This adventurous overnight trek in Gunung Leuser National Park is the most popular option to discover and really experience the tropical rainforest of North Sumatra. During this three-day trek you go deeper into the jungle, with great chances of seeing orangutans and many other wild animals up-close in their natural habitat. On the first day we will leave around 9am and walk through the jungle for 6-7 hours, with many breaks to have food/drinks and fruit. There will be many opportunities to take wonderful pictures of the wildlife and nature we will see. We will arrive around 15:00 - 16:00 to our camp to enjoy te beautiful surroundings or to swim. Dinner will be prepared for you by our private chef at the camp around 18:30 -19:00. After dinner we have jungle tea and everyone can choose to spend the night sharing stories together or playing games!

After waking up to the beautiful jungle sounds (monkeys, birds), we will make you some tea or coffee with biscuits and will have a breakfast at 8am - 9am and afteward we will continue our activity to exploring more deeper to see more wild animals and we will stay in another campsite were the campsite is near to the big river and waterfall After get sweaty from exploring our jungle all day long you can swimming in the river or waterfall to get fresh and we will serve you with tea,,coffee and biskuit or another snack At 18:30pm - 19:00pm we will have dinner and after dinner we will play game (magic trick ) and enjoying our last night in the jungle

On the last day we will have time to explore the surrounding area, swim in the river and enjoy a traditional indonesian breakfast. After breakfast we will continue our trip for exploring our jungle to found an animals and after lunch we will preparing our stuff to coming back by traditional rafting We will arrive in Bukit Lawang village about 13:00pm - 14:00pm

5.00One of the best trips I’ve had! Kian an Dedi were really friendly and attentive—made sure we make the most of our trip! Suria too—thanks for the accommodation! They are very knowledgeable and fun! Learned a lot and had a great time! Glad to have booked Monkey Business. The best thing about Monkey Business is that it is owned by locals. So if you want to support the locals, please book them! Our guides speak good English and if you will indulge, they have some nice stories and funny jokes to share. The food was great! Tropical fruits are the best! Definitely going back!

5.00What a great time. Not even an hour into the hike and we were up close and personal with a huge orangutan! The best part had to be our knowledgeable and hilarious guide Nang Nang. He made the experience unforgettable. Thanks so much to Nang Nang.

5.00I would absolutely recommend this trip! Myself and my friend were paired with Nang Nang (our guide) and Arib, we had an amazing time with the both of them, they totally made the experience. Nang Nang is very knowledgeable about the jungle, the animals that live there and the people of Buket Lawang. Anything you want to know about the trek he can answer. He also constantly makes you laugh, which is important on the three day trek. No need to worry about going too fast/slow as the tour guides will tailor the trek to your liking. We saw plently of orangutans as well as gibbons and Thomas Leap monkeys. The wildlife is brilliant, the same with the company and food! Suria and Gea in the office will take care of all your needs such as accommodation and transport to and from the airport. Overall I would 100% recommend booking this trip. These guys are THE BEST
