The Rocky Massif of Montserrat has been declared as Natural Park in 1987, and characterised by the rounded shape of its peaks. This incredible 4000-foot wonder is easily recognizable by its ''serrated'' top from which it got his name. Once you reach the monastery, you have plenty of options and your guide will always adjust to your interests. We invite you to take an easy walk of around 30 min to enjoy one of the most astonishing views of the natural park, but if you wish you can also decide to enjoy other activities that the mountain offers.

He was also extremely knowledgable about the area, managed the time + itinerary well, and is clearly adept at communicating with his guests, regardless of where they are from. 5.00Javi is super fun and engaging, and he's very knowledgeable. He's really nice, attentive and genuinely interested in cultural nuances. It was a genuine pleasure to be toured by him. :) He also structured our tour so that everyone could go do what they wanted even though we were one group. 5.00Javi was the best guide ever! His in depth knowledge of Montserrat and positive attitude gave us an excellent experience. Javi also shared his knowledge of Spanish and Catalan history which we found fascinating. We would definitely recommend booking a trip with him.

5.00We had an incredible time on the Montserrat Monastery Classic Tour. Everything felt unhurried and well balanced, giving us time to take in the dramatic mountain views, wander around the monastery, and simply enjoy the calm, almost sacred atmosphere of Montserrat. What really elevated the tour, though, was our guide, Eduardo. From the very beginning, his deep knowledge and great sense of humor set the tone for the day. He shared stories about Montserrat’s history and significance in a way that felt personal and engaging, never dry or scripted, and he had the whole group smiling throughout the journey. Eduardo has a rare talent for making information feel effortless with the infusion of humor. We learned a lot without it ever feeling like a lecture, and his warmth made everyone feel comfortable and included. Thanks to his insights, the monastery and its surroundings felt alive, not just like another stop on a tour. All in all, the tour was smooth, enriching, and genuinely enjoyable, from the stunning scenery to the thoughtful organization and excellent guiding. We’d highly recommend this Montserrat tour to anyone visiting Barcelona.

5.00Excellent half-day tour with Matt. It was a rainy day but Matt still made it a wonderful experience. He shared all about the history of the area on the way to and from Montserrat. The basilica was beautiful as well as the museum that had Picasso and Dalí just to name a few. I would highly recommend this tour. We chose the afternoon option which was perfect with two teenagers.
