Ajanta Caves
Welcome to Aurangabad: Our representative will greet you at your selected pick-up point and provide an overview of the day. You will be introduced to your guide or driver before beginning your journey to Ajanta Caves. Journey to Ajanta Caves: You will embark on a 2-hour drive (100 km) to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ajanta Caves. Upon reaching the parking lot, 4 km from the caves, a shuttle bus will take you to the entrance. Your guide will assist with purchasing shuttle and entry tickets. Explore Ajanta Caves: Spend about 3 hours exploring the 30 magnificent caves, which date from the 2nd century BC to the 5th century AD. These caves showcase stunning Buddhist art, including intricate carvings and murals. Lunch & Return: After the tour, enjoy a local lunch as recommended by your guide. You'll then return to Aurangabad to conclude your day.
Ellora Caves - Bibi ka Maqbara Tour.
Ellora Caves
Start your day with breakfast before meeting your guide or driver at 8:30 a.m. in the hotel lobby. From there, you'll travel 35 km, about a 1-hour drive, to the Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ellora consists of 34 caves showcasing Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain art, built between 600-1000 CE. A highlight of the visit is Cave 16, the remarkable Kailash Temple, a massive monolithic structure dedicated to Lord Shiva. After exploring Ellora, you can stop for lunch. The tour continues with a visit to Bibi Ka Maqbara, located 30 km from the caves, to end the day.

Afternoon Visit to Bibi Ka Maqbara: After exploring the breathtaking Ellora Caves, travel 30 km to Bibi Ka Maqbara, built between 1651-1661 AD by Azam Shah in honor of his mother, Dilraj Bano Begum. Known as the "Taj of the Deccan," this monument reflects the elegance of Mughal architecture. Shopping and Departure: Enjoy some free time for shopping in Aurangabad, renowned for its exquisite Himroo and Paithani sarees. You can then select your preferred drop-off point, including the airport, train station, or hotel. Note: This tour comfortably accommodates afternoon flights, with drop-off options available from 2-6 p.m.

5.00If you are staying in Aurangabad be prepared for some lengthy and bumpy journeys to and from the caves, especially Ajunta Caves. However, it is an effort worth making as the caves, both Ellora and Ajunta , are amazing and didn't disappoint. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, which provided an extra and welcome dimension to the visits.

4.00We are very happy with Ajantha tour. The guide is very good and explained taking time. But Ajantha guide was rushing as he had another client to take care of. I also paid EV charges of INR 90. Driver is excellent.
