Monument Ticket Prices: Ajanta Caves: INR 40 (SAARC countries), INR 600 (Non-SAARC countries) Ellora Caves: INR 40 (SAARC countries), INR 600 (Non-SAARC countries), Bibi Ka Maqbara: INR 30 (SAARC countries), INR 300 (Non-SAARC countries)
Please carry Indian Rupees (INR) for monument entry tickets, as cards are not accepted. We also recommend bringing sunglasses, comfortable shoes, a hat or cap, sunscreen, and a water bottle for a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
Your guide will help you buy entrance fees at monuments, so you will not have to wait in a queue to buy entrance fees.
Confirmation will be received at time of booking
Ajanta Caves are closed every Monday. Ellora Caves are closed every Tuesday.

Welcome to Aurangabad! Our team will meet you at your chosen pickup point and give you a quick idea of the day’s plan. You’ll be introduced to your driver or guide before we begin the tour. Drive to Ajanta Caves We’ll start with a scenic 2-hour drive (around 100 km) to the famous Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. When we reach the parking area (4 km from the caves), a shuttle bus will take us to the entrance. Don’t worry—your guide will help with shuttle and entry tickets. Explore the Ajanta Caves Spend around 3 hours exploring these ancient rock-cut caves, dating back to the 2nd century BC. Inside, you’ll see beautiful Buddhist carvings, paintings, and stories told through art. Lunch and Return After the cave visit, enjoy a tasty local lunch (your guide will suggest a good place). Then we’ll head back to Aurangabad, ending your wonderful day with great memories.

Start Your Day Enjoy your breakfast, then meet your driver or guide at 8:30 a.m. in your hotel lobby. Visit Ellora Caves We’ll drive about 1 hour (35 km) to the amazing Ellora Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These caves are over 1,000 years old and show beautiful art from Hindu, Buddhist, and Jain religions. Don’t miss Cave 16 — the famous Kailash Temple, carved from a single rock and dedicated to Lord Shiva! Lunch Break After exploring the caves, you can take a break and enjoy a nice lunch at a local restaurant. Visit Bibi Ka Maqbara Next, we’ll drive about 30 km to see Bibi Ka Maqbara, also known as the "Mini Taj Mahal." It’s a beautiful monument and a great way to end your day.

Afternoon Visit to Bibi Ka Maqbara After your visit to the stunning Ellora Caves, we’ll drive around 30 km to Bibi Ka Maqbara. Built by Prince Azam Shah in memory of his mother, this beautiful monument is often called the “Taj of the Deccan.” Its lovely Mughal-style architecture makes it a must-see in Aurangabad. Shopping Time & Tour End Next, enjoy some free time to shop for local specialties like Himroo and Paithani sarees — perfect souvenirs from Aurangabad! After shopping, we’ll drop you off at the place of your choice — whether it’s your hotel, the airport, or the train station. Note: This tour is perfect if you have an afternoon flight — drop-off is available anytime between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

5.00I had a fantastic 2 days visiting Ajanta and Ellora Caves. Mr Madhav was a very safe and careful driver. My guide for Ellora caves was Mr Siraj who was excellent. This was arranged through Sherkan at the company. At Ajanta caves I managed to find a good guide on arrival, but I'd recommend booking the tour which includes a guide arranged in advance. It can be hard to find one on the day especially during holiday periods. After the tours on both days we went to excellent restaurants for lunch (not included but very cheap). I was a day late arriving in Aurangabad due to a cancelled flight, and Sherkan helpfully rearranged the dates of my cave tours so I didn't miss out. Sherkan also included a stop at Bibi Ka Maqbara (mini Taj Mahal) which is worth a visit. I highly recommend this company and plan to use them again for my tour to Hampi and Badami caves.

Deepak brings both a wealth of knowledge about the Ajanta and Ellora caves, and a passion to share their hidden mysteries and make connection to their Buddhist. Hindu, and Jain roots. As a Buddhist tour guide, guiding two Buddhists, we were able to explore the caves, paintings and sculpture from both a philosophical and physical viewpoint. Mr. Deepak, our guide, was a treasure trove of knowledge.... his passion for history and culture brought every cave to life. His kind and patient nature made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The itinerary was seamless and perfectly organized, allowing us to take in each site without feeling rushed. Mr. Samad, our driver, was equally good: courteous, skilled, and made us feel completely safe and comfortable in his SUV. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, making the journey smooth from start to finish. 5.00One of the best trips we have had. Our driver Mr. Samad was fantastic. While driving in India is not very easy, Mr. Samad was very careful and took us on a smooth ride to both the Caves and back. We were very comfortable. Our Guide Mr. Sethi is exceptional, the knowledge he has is truly a treasure to Aurangabad's tourism industry. He guided us beautifully through the vast historical heritage embodied by the Ajanta Caves and the Ellora Caves. Your guidance made this visit truly memorable. Mr. Sethi seems to know everyone in town and we saw the respect and greeting he received from so many people while we were touring . They arrived on time and took us through the tours without any hiccups. We will truly treasure all the conversations we had during our trip.
