On arrival, begin your ascent to the mountain’s lofty summit with a 30-minute panoramic gondola ride to the Fräkmüntegg terminus. Enjoy beautiful views over the rolling hills and lush pine forests below. At Fräkmüntegg, hop aboard the aerial tramway — a spacious and modern cabin with panoramic windows designed to give the feeling of flight. Continue your climb to the summit at a dizzying altitude of 7,000 feet, and take in spectacular views over the Alpine peaks and lakes from your vantage point on the mountain. 5.00We had perfect weather to visit Mt. Pilatus! Our tour guide did a fantastic job giving us instruction while allowing us time to wonder on our own. Highly recommend the 3 unique modes of transportation - the gondola, the cogwheel and the boat! Such a fantastic way to see Lucerne!

5.00The Mt. Pilatus trip was excellent. We had two hours on the summit to eat and hike the trails. The view was amazing! Our guide was very efficient and timely, and he gave clear instructions for each leg of our journey. He also was happy to answer our questions, which enhanced our experience. The boat trip back to Lucern was enjoyable and scenic. It was a great way to end our adventure.
