The trek will start at the height of 1420 meters MSL (approx), we will start through the tea plantations for about 60 to 90 minutes, After reaching the top of the hill, rest of our couple of hours trek will be on the ridge which offers beautiful views around, it will be through grasslands, one side will be rocky mountain slope and the other side will be tea plantations, patches of Shola forest etc…, in a clear sky day we could see the Anaimudi “highest peak in S. India” and the water reservoir of Idukki Dam which listed as highest arch dams in Asia and third tallest dam in India. We will have refreshment/picnic lunch at any suitable place during the trek, our trek we will be through Nature Zone where we can see some of exotic spices like Coffee, Cardamom, etc…, Will have another 60 minutes to 01.5 hours walk through the tea plantations to finish the trek, highest point of this trek will be about 1950 meters MSL (approx)

5.00It was a great hike through the plantations with a good insight about tea as well as other plants growing in the area. The climb was manageable with kids and they had a great time enjoying nature. The guide Mr Raja was very friendly, patient and tailored to our pace and answered any open question.

5.00What an amazing day- Thank you Sami. This hike gave us the opportunity to see the best views in Munnar. The hike is long and relatively tough but completely worth it for the views. The best part was that we were totally alone and able to enjoy the nature and beauty without other tourists. Our guide Sami was knowledgeable and friendly and shared so much local knowledge about the tea plantations, history of the town and the flora and fauna. We saw a wild Bison, kingfishers, eagles and plenty of other birds. We stopped for a lunch break in a tree house cafe and the guide provided a lovely lunch of samoas, bananas and cookies. Sami was brilliant at helping us get the best photographs at all the view points. I would thoroughly recommend this guide for an authentic experience, best 360 degree views and total peace and calm away from the tourist crowds.

5.00Trekking with Vijay was so enjoyable and thoroughly exceeded our expectations! He took us through tea plantations, cardamom forests and up to gorgeous viewpoints which we would never have found otherwise. He was very friendly and has great English, and was happy to answer any questions we had. His local knowledge really shined through, and we were grateful to try some native foods during our trek. As he has previously worked as tea picker, he has a lot of rapport with the tea workers we passed by which was nice to see. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a bit off the beaten path in Munnar!

5.00Had the tour today with Mani and it was great! In around 4.5 hours he showed us the tea plantations and great mountain views. He explained a lot about the work on the plantations and answered all questions we had! We even saw a wild free elephant (from very very far)

5.00Great hike with Ganesan. Very friendly and knowledgeable guide and wife's cooking was a nice touch. Perfect tour to get a understanding of the tea industry and some great views.
