5.00You expect to see the deer but there is actually so much more in the Nara area. Hiro our tour guide took took us all around Nara showing us the temples and historical areas that provided context to why the deer are there.

5.00Our Guide Yasuko was just perfect - in every sense. Coming from Nara herself, she helped us understand its history, religious and social meaning, as well as its architectural treasures. All embedded in vivid stories and anecdotes that brought the past to life. We would never have spotted these little highlights all along the way. 5.00The deer can be funn they may nip at you for a cookie but as soon as you put your hands in the air they will leave you alone.the shrines were beautiful our guied was very helpful and amazing hewas kind enough to walk us back to the train station even when he did not have tooit was a great experience
