• Night Safari with Buffet Dinner and hotel pick up - a very worthwhile experience.

  We were met by our guide at the hotel foyer and the van arrived shortly after. We had two other couples on our tour. Our guide, Mohan, could not have been more informative and helpful. The buffet dinner was lovely, with a good range of foods from different cultures to choose from. The show was entertaining and informative and then we were taken to a tram reserved just for people who had booked similar experiences. The driver of the tram was very entertaining. A tip for photo enthusiasts - the tram keeps moving and flash photography is not allowed, so best to use video rather than attempt a still photo. After the tram ride one of our couples had purchased a “feed a rhino experience.” Mohan organised a special ride for us to the area and we were all able to get great photos whilst the other couple were doing the feeding. It was a very unique experience.After this Mohan led us some of the walking trails to see more animals. Overall we thought the experience was very worthwhile. My only criticism was that I wish were given more time to walk around on our own at the zoo.

  The pick-up and drop-off back at city hotel and our guide was top service. First stop at the zoos impressive facility was the conservatory cafe buffet catering more to the Indian taste but minimal options. Everything else remindd me of my experience in mining camp mess halls. Not worth wasting time here. Next stop the creatures of the night show which caters more to the kids. Little animals and flying birds sort of thing. Next onto the night safari tram. The other guests were all yabbering away full on so difficult to hear commentary. This requires a sign up in all languages. Please shut it and enjoy the ride. The tram made intermittent stops but the clear animal view seemed to be patrons seated at the front of the carriages. Then off again. Other large animals like hippo elephant the tram sped past. For me the ride apart from the noisey group was ok. Just very fast. For two pax it cost just over $200. Better for family's I would suggest.

• When we got to Singapore zoo we had delicious buffet dinner.Then on tram through to view animals in natural state.

  Night Safari was very good. Communication by driver picking us up at hotel could have been better.Also his van was the only vehicle that I saw in Singapore that needed panel beating. The whole side on the passenger side had been side swiped. Very annoyed that Tripadvisor did not make it clear at the time of booking that the price was in US dollars, considering we were in Singapore making a booking for a Singaporean attraction.I will think twice before using Tripadvisor again!

  Felt the trip was rushed. Particularly dinner 20-25 mins to eat and get to show. Night safari was ok. Felt rushed as well Tram done in 30 mins Glad we didn’t opt for the walk as most people complained they missed slot as the could not cross the road due to the trams. Enjoyable but not worth $400 a couple.

  sadly, this tour did not live up to our expectations. our driver arrived almost 45 minutes late to pick us up, and there was absolutely no communication from the tour operator to inform us of any delay. We attempted to contact them multiple times by phone and message through aviator but it was after hours, and we couldn't get a response. We were about to give up but the driver finally showed up—without an apology—just telling us to hurry up. We had purchased tickets that included a BBQ dinner, which turned out to be a huge letdown. The dinner was buffet-style and the food was below average. There was nothing BBQ about it; I’d recommend opting for food from the restaurants in the main court instead. Since we were running late and had to rush through dinner, we didn't have enough time to see the show. While the animals were interesting to see, the train moved too fast to get a good look, and by the time you spotted an animal in the darkness, we were already passing by—definitely not conducive for decent photos Although our guide was friendly, the overall experience felt rushed and left me feeling like I had wasted my money. I expected a much better-organized tour and a more enjoyable evening. I hope my feedback helps others make a more informed decision.

  If you are thinking of going to Night Safari, just purchase tickets direct from the zoo and don't waste extra money on this Tour East tour. We were given (in writing) the wrong time to arrive and had to wait an hour and a quarter for the guide to arrive and admit us. The arrangements were very confused and essentially the 'tour' added very little value to the much cheaper straight Night Safari ticket that you can purchase direct.

  The trip overall was great but we had booked with dinner which was really rushed. We were late getting to the zoo because of traffic so why not adjust the time for an earlier pick-up so that you can enjoy a more relaxed dinner and see the show. There wasn't time to do both and we had to bolt down our dinner. Having said that our guide Jacqueline was great and the safari enjoyable. Just some adjustment to the pick-up time and I would have added a couple of stars to the overall rating.

  We were told it would be meal, show and safari. There were 10 others in the group but we were the only ones to have dinner included. The guide told us we would go straight for the meal whilst the others went to the show then we would meet up to do the safari. I asked when we would see the show, she said we wouldn't have time to do both. I said we've paid for the 3 things and want to do all 3. She said if we ate quickly we might have time to do the safari as soon as we finished eating then see the later show. We agreed that we could eat fast- there was mushroom soup but no bowls, there was a good selection of food but we were told the guide would be back in 10mins. We had no time to have a drink with dinner and although there were lots of desserts we didn't have time to even look at them. The guide came to collect us and took us to the front of the queue for the safari. We didn't get a chance to see all the animals as we had moved on by the time your eyes managed to spot them. We then went to the show which was very good. We spoke to the rest of the group afterwards and they were all disappointed

  Not really a tour as the guide only facilitated the experience. We did get the pick up from the hotel which was good but after that the guide just showed us where to go for buffet, where to get on team and where to go for evening show. Buffet food was poor. Evening show was well done with good information about the specific animals. Suggest you skip this tour, take a taxi to the safari park, ride the tram, enjoy the show and forego the buffet dinner for a less costly and better overall experience.
