There are a lot of moving parts to cover this ambitious itinerary. It covers lots of highlights for Singapore at night. Lots of changing busses, boats and vans. Guide was reasonably good, but there were limited opportunities for her to narrate or explain what we were seeing. Worthy of consideration if you want to cover all this itinerary with limited time.

Excellent experience including a river cruise, a Merlion visit, incredible marina garden light show and ending with a water show. The guide we had, William was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Would definitely recommend

First Problem: False advertising. The tour description specified a group of 10. We were picked up from our hotel by a mini bus containing 10 tourists. However, we were then shuttled to 2 large tour buses containing approximately 40 people per bus. Second Problem: I was told I would be informed what vehicle would pick us up well before its arrival. Pick up time was listed as 5:30 but range could be 5:00-5:45. We were ready by 5:00 but by 5:40 I had still received no word regarding the vehicle. I was reaching out to the Tour Office trying to at least find out what type of vehicle I was looking for and a license plate. We are at a big hotel and there are a lot of drop offs and pickups. I was literally going up to any vehicle that looked big enough for 10 people and asking if they were with our Tour group. Finally, at 5:48, I received a message specifying the vehicle and the arrival time of 5:50. A late arrival with a two minute warning. An inauspicious start to the evening. Third problem: They did not tell us we should bring a wheelchair for my husband. I had notified the tour company of my husband’s mobility restrictions. He had a stroke 5 years ago and cannot walk quickly or for distances longer than 400m at a time. I asked if this tour would be appropriate for him. They indicated they received my message and the tour could proceed. As it turned out, the walking distances were too far for my husband. One of the guides rented a wheelchair for us midway through the tour (thank you Aida) but we ended up missing one of the attractions completely (Gardens by the Bay Light Show) while we were waiting for her. If we had simply been told the amount of walking required, we would have brought a wheelchair from our hotel or booked a different tour. (Side note: Aida had apparently advised the front office recommend we bring a wheelchair. Her advice was ignored.) Fourth Problem: The final attraction was the Fountains by the Sands Hotel. It began to rain a bit just before the show so the guides had us watch from beneath a canopy in front of the Apple Store. It was kind of them to try and shelter us from the rain. However, from that angle we were unable to see the images reflected in the mists of the fountains (one of the unique highlights of that show) and we could not hear the music of the show because there was music blaring from speakers under the canopy. One great thing: The guides did their best to accommodate my husband’s needs. It was not their fault that the Tour Office dropped the ball. The great service of the guides is the reason we gave 2 stars. Otherwise, it would have been one star. In summary, we felt extremely unsatisfied with the tour and that it was completely not worth the money.
