  We had a lovely day exploring Nusa Penida. Adi our first driver was very good at helping us to know where to go and connecting us with our driver on the island when we messaged him. The boat journey was smooth and punctual on the way out, the way back was a little bumpy!! The views were stunning and Kadek our driver took great photos at the different opportunities, waiting in line so we could explore around the area. Yes it was busy and there were lots of crowds but we found leaving on an earlier trip minimised some of this! Kadek was also very skilled at navigating the bumpy roads- they were very bumpy in some places, but that just added to the fun of the experience! Great portions of food for the inclusive lunch, ready to set you up for some time on the beach. We had an hour and a half at crystal bay which was a lovely way to cool off after lots of hills and walking to beaches! All I would say is bring some shoes that can be worn in the water as it is a bit rough underfoot when entering the sea. All in all, a great day! We are glad we did the trip!

  We chose to book through Viator even though it was more expensive than other sites, as we expected a higher-end and more reliable experience. The tour operator was Bali Natural Tours. Unfortunately, the tour did not meet those expectations. Firstly, the itinerary on Viator’s website was inaccurate — it stated that swimming at Angel’s Billabong was possible, but we were told this was not allowed. Whilst the scenery on the island was beautiful, our experience with the driver took away from the overall enjoyment of the day. He spoke limited English and was unable to answer simple questions about the island. It also felt as though he was rushing us through the stops to catch an earlier ferry. We were initially told we would take the 4:00 or 5:00 pm ferry, but the driver was pushing us to leave on the 2:00 or 2:30 pm ferry, and we eventually ended up on the 3:30 pm ferry instead. In addition, the included lunch was very average. Overall, we were disappointed with the experience and did not feel it reflected the premium service Viator advertised. Next time we will use one of the other online services that are half the price and give the same level of service.

  Not recommended heavily expensive and the guide was in a hurry to finish the tour. Even though it said full day tour, tour was completed in 5 hours. Also the guide didn't tell us anything on the locations and didn't show the must visit areas of the locations

• Getting lost & Boarding the wrong boat

  One of the worst tour experiences I have ever faced, a complete lack of organisation to the point you don't know where you should go next as there is no tour guide on the ground, relying on inexperienced drivers to guide through WhatsApp messages, ending up being lost and boarding a boat with a ticket by mistake! They will never admit their lack of organisation on such a relatively expensive trip, as they think a first-time tourist is fully aware of the places around! I totally recommend avoiding this tour operator at all costs as they just care about collecting as much money from as many tourists as they can without taking care of the clients and guiding them enough to not end up being lost and boarding the wrong boat!

• Smooth transitions between the islands and great drivers!!

  Our drivers were amazing and made the transition between the two islands seamless. Wayan was very sweet and knowledgeable. He provided a lot of insight about Bali and recommended some amazing spots to visits during our stay. Pagus in Nusa Penida was awesome and went above and beyond! He was extremely professional. Thank you for making this day so amazing!
