Loch Lomond
You'll see Loch Lomond through your panoramic window as we meander its western shores. If you look to the right you’ll see Ben Lomond, Scotland’s most southerly Munro (a mountain above 3000 feet) and your first of the tour. We'll also have a short refreshment stop nearby to the loch.
Rest and be Thankful
We pause for photos at the ‘Rest and Be Thankful’, an iconic Scottish viewpoint so named thanks to the words carved in stone by weary soldiers who built the original military road in 1753.

5.00It was AMAZING! The group was fairly small, only 7 ppl in total, which made it a great tour experience. The tour guide, I think his name was Chris? Was so nice and was very knowledgeable. He had great recommendations. The scenery and places were beautiful! Overall, it was a fantastic tour and I HIGHLY recommend it!!

5.00Perfect day, memories for life. Guide Kieran was fantastic, funny, witty, and extremely knowledgeable. He kept our whole family entertained and theday just flew by. Stunning scenery, postcard towns, and all in great comfort. Discover Scotland's bus is much more spacious than the ones I've experienced on the other big companies.

5.00A truly special and unforgettable experience. It was just the two of us on the bus together with our guide, Billy, which made the tour feel even more intimate, relaxed, and tailored to us. Billy is an exceptional guide: passionate, engaging, and always attentive. He managed to share his love for these places in such a genuine way, making every stop interesting and never ordinary. We especially appreciated his patience and kindness, particularly since we don’t speak English perfectly. We felt welcomed and at ease throughout the entire day. It was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for something authentic and thoughtfully organized.

5.00Lots to see, well balanced of driving, stops, and sightseeing. Colin was a great guide, had lots of facts about places we stopped at and passed by. Weather was typical for March which we honestly enjoyed. Overall great tour and tour company.
Worth it! An educational and enjoyable day!

5.00Despite the weather this trip is a great way to explore the Scottish highlands and you don’t have to worry about a thing. Colin, our driver was excellent and knowledgeable. He gives us plenty of breaks and goes at the pace of the crowd, no rushing us along. A must do. We caught the tour bus at the Buchanan bus station and it was so easy.

4.00We had a great trip with our driver/guide, Tony. He told great stories which were fun and interesting, and almost always true. We felt totally safe in his hands and the bus is comfortable. The trip has plenty to see and lots of interesting stops in some stunning locations.

We loved the music playlist he had and the way he related the songs to the area and local stories. Even on a drizzly day, this is a fun tour and probably the only way to see this many great sights in one day. Great value for money, while still keeping it to a small group in the coach. We would highly recommend to anyone with a day in Glasgow who wants to venture further afield!

5.00Great experience, the Highlands are amazing. Johnny was a very knowledgeable guide, and extremely friendly. I learned a lot of Scottish history, and saw a lot of amazing sights.
