Let us take you on an amazing, guided off-roading adventure! Ride through a beautiful rainforest, splash through rivers, explore an ancient glacier riverbed while being blown away by the breath-taking scenery including the spectacular Southern Alps and Franz Josef Glacier. Your guide will kit you out with wet weather gear and gumboots and teach you how to ride our off-roading vehicles. They will entertain you and amaze you with beautiful local Maori Legends and history while refining your skills and giving you new challenges to conquer. Either take a single quad bike all to yourself or take a double quad bike and bring a passenger along for the ride or take one of our three-seater buggies that can fit two adults and one child. - If you are booking a double quad its one driver and one passenger - passengers are not permitted to drive so you can not swap at any point on the tour. - Drivers must be a minimum of 16 years of age. - Drivers with minors as passengers must be a minimum of 18 years of age. - Passengers on the quad bikes must be a minimum height of 145cm - Passengers in the buggy's must be a minimum height of 110cm

5.00it was such an amazing experience and totally worth every dime! To be honest I and my friend didnt plan for thid quadbike experience. However our helicopter tour got cancelled due to the weather so we decided to find something else to do and got recommended this activitiy instead. The team provided everything we need, and those were indeed necessities (love the rain coat and boots and trousers, add character to the photos lol!!) Our guide Leo was amazing at his job, succinct and clear in instruction yet doesn't take away the whimsical and fun out of the trip. i was lucky to go with a friend who was a fast learner herself and could decently ride the quadbike while i sat at the back. I will warn you, even passengers will need lots of upper body strength, hand grip, and just be willing to be rocked up and down w every twist and turn from the ride. the terrain was so awesome as well, my favorite was when we got to ride thru the rainforest, but you will get to go to the rocky river (Waiho river??), to test your skills w the big rocky area and splash around in the cool water. Leo would tell us when and where n how we could pose for him to take pics, very little chance you can be confused on what to do ever lol. Those pics are free and will be emailed to us afterwards. it was the appropriate amount of time for what we paid for (1.5-2hrs??), as truly more than that, my grip will probably lose the handle 😭 it was quite challenging but totally doable. All in all, i had a great great time spending in the New zealand nature, surrounded by great mountainous scenery and the rainforest, Highly rec!! Thanks Leo!

5.00The quad bike tour was excellent. A big thank to brook and Justin for making the experience fun. Whilst the weather wasn’t in our favor on the day it was still a great experience and an awesome time. Would definitely do it again

5.00It was amazing !!! And safe ! I did fail the preliminary driving assessment and chose to not cause a drama and go funky with my friend instead and it was fantastic !! It is really off road !

5.00We were so happy this quad bike tour was meant for rainy weather, as our trip landed on a rainy day. They provided the head to toe rain gear, so getting wet was part of the fun. Our guide, James, was lots of fun and full of knowledge. I highly recommend this excursion!

5.00This is a Great experience that you have to try. It is handled by an experienced team that get you ready for your adventure. Justin our guide , was amazing putting us through our test drive to make sure we were safe to ride the quad. The ride took us through forest which lead to the river. There we drove through the water before Justin took loads of pictures ( which get emailed later to you ) some with the Glacier behind. Justin was very professional with his safety, knowledge of the area and sense of humour. A great experience Thanks

5.00Great fun on quad bikes with Brooklyn - exciting but always felt safe. We had 2 hours of exciting rough roads and river beds - lots of water and lots of laughs. Felt it was one of the best adventures we have had so far in NZ!!

5.00Wow, what a wonderful experience! This was a bucket load of fun! Pretty sure Leo was our guide, with the back up of possibly James, what an experience! My partner and I are in our 60's and 70's, but despite being 'oldies' we had a blast! Felt safe at all times, but still had an adventure! Would highly recommend !!

3.00Despite the write-up that noted the excursion required no previous experience on ATV’s, the ride was pretty tame (boring). Our enthusiastic guide stated that there were up and down hills - turned out to be more like small bumps. The forest section was enjoyable, the river bed …meh, too much river bed not enough forest. Spent too much time taking our photographs, I don’t think we covered more than 5-6 miles in the 1.5 hours. I’ve ATV’ed in Canada, Costa Rica, Azores and Europe - this was too lame, too short (distance), too much of same terrain (river bed).
Definitely a must do!

5.00Great fun! James and Leo were awesome. Started with a quick test drive then it was off for the trails and river crossings. Don't let the safety briefing scare you "Ohio". The equipment is all top shape. You can stay dry or wet if you want to get a little bit more aggressive. Bonus photos taken during the ride included. Definitely a must do!
