Let us take you on an amazing, guided off-roading adventure! Ride through a beautiful rainforest, splash through rivers, explore an ancient glacier riverbed while being blown away by the breath-taking scenery including the spectacular Southern Alps and Franz Josef Glacier. Your guide will kit you out with wet weather gear and gumboots and teach you how to ride our off-roading vehicles. They will entertain you and amaze you with beautiful local Maori Legends and history while refining your skills and giving you new challenges to conquer. Either take a single quad bike all to yourself or take a double quad bike and bring a passenger along for the ride or take one of our three-seater buggies that can fit two adults and one child. - If you are booking a double quad its one driver and one passenger - passengers are not permitted to drive so you can not swap at any point on the tour. - Drivers must be a minimum of 16 years of age. - Drivers with minors as passengers must be a minimum of 18 years of age. - Passengers on the quad bikes must be a minimum height of 145cm - Passengers in the buggy's must be a minimum height of 110cm

5.00We did a tandem quad bike tour with Brooklyn on a glorious day. We were part of a group of 3 vehicles which was great because I'm sure we covered more ground than a bigger group would have done. We splashed through mud puddles in the rainforest and through running rivers on the river bed fed by the glacier. Brooklyn took some terrific photos which are sent through to you electronically for free, the next day. The tour takes over 2.5 hours and is well worth the cost. Full gear is provided so you don't get wet clothes and have a comfortable trip. They are very good at assessing your capabilities on the quad bike before you start the tour and are pretty strict with behaviours and treatment of the bike which is a good thing. It was more challenging than I expected but Brooklyn's instructions and direction was excellent and we never felt out of our depth. Highly recommend as an activity to remember.

5.00To start with i thought the safety talks sounded like the fun police, but actually I was wrong as once we got going it was exhilarating and I loved every moment. Leo was great. Excellent quads, rainforest was awesome as was the River. Given all the waterproof gear .. we needed it! Thanks 10/10

5.00A couple of hours well spent even though it was a miserable day . Our guide ( Leo ??) was fantastic. I was on the back of my husband and still really enjoyed it.

5.00What a day! The whole experience was amazing. Beautiful scenery. Amazing staff. Brooklyn was fantastic. Personable, professional and most importantly fun. This felt wild and exciting but super safe at the sane time. I highly recommend this for experiencing the most beautiful Franz Josef. Thanks again Brooklyn for an amazing morning.

5.00We had a fantastic time on the quad bike tour. It was so cool driving through river beds mud and over big rocks. Out of my comfort zone but so glad I did it. Brooklyn was a fantastic guide. Friendly experienced and very safe.

5.00We started the day with an off road buggy adventure with Joe. Joe was great, allowing us to experience the adventure of river crossings, rainforests and mud safely under his guidance. We felt safe and supported throughout the trip and being such a small group allowed us to venture further than you might make it with a large group. We chose the 2 person buggy which my husband says was just as much fun as the quad bikes but allowed me, a less confident rider, to feel like I want holding the group up. We enjoyed our morning tour so much we headed out on the lake with Chad in the afternoon for a complete change of pace. Chad’s knowledge of the lake and the flora surrounding it was superb and we learnt so much. We were even allowed a stop to see the NZ blue mushroom! We would highly recommend this group as this was the most fun we have had on our holiday so far!
