  The entire day from pick up to drop off was fantastic. The guide was very knowledgeable and stopped frequently along the way to point out wildlife and points of interest. Can’t fault the day in anyway.

  From the friendly banter of our bus drivers to a very informative Dylan (our Skipper), this cruise was fabulous. We learned so much from Dylan about the river system and the lake and its dam. He pulled the boat up in some unexpected places, pointing out the local flora and fauna. The lunch was delicious and the boat itself comfortable and plenty of cover. The afternoon stop at the museum was a good amount of time. Thanks for making this a memorable day in our Kununurra stay.

  Starring from near the swimming beach in Kununurra Captain Chris took us to the Diversion Dam then set off towards the Dam Wall at Lake Argyle. Captain Chris would stop along the way and explain about the area and he had a wealth of knowledge. He stopped at a designated place for lunch and he placed out the food prepared by Sue and we had a great variety to choose from. (Buffet) . We then set off for the Dam wall and the scenery and Fauna was magnificent. Captain Chris knew how to handle the boat and the boat ride was really exilerating. Once we reached the dam wall we boarded a bus for Argyle house (Duracks) driven by Lee who had a wealth of knowledge as well. We then left for return to Kununurra. A six hour tour well worth it and a must to experience.

  Chris, Lee and Sue took great care of us. Chris and Lee were extremely knowledgeable about the Ord River area. The lunch Sue prepared was plentiful, fresh and delicious.

  It was a very informative, relaxing day. Great sites and an extremely knowledgeable guide with a great sense of humour who showed great love and passion for his job. Definately worth doing. Remember to wear sunscreen and to reapply also if you have longish hair make sure you take a hair tie. Can get a bit blowy on the boat.

  This excursion would have benefited greatly from some description of local Aboriginal groups, where they live and lived. Anything at all given they've been here for 50,000 years. Otherwise it was a very interesting tour. I would recommend it except for the concerning whitefella centric view of of the world.

  I picked this cruise from other reviews and was not disappointed. Chris our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and a great skipper. We cruised along, stopping at landmarks, to view birds, crocodiles, and the amazing vegetation and gorges. We stopped for lunch, which was simple. Cheese platter, meat, salad and rolls. Soft drinks and water included. The trip back to Kununurra was by coach once we reached the dam wall, with a short stopover at the old Durack Homestead. Wonderful day
