  Such a fun and interesting activity to do in York! Our Tour guide Ellie was fab, very joyful, enthusiastic and funny. We got to know a lot of history about York and played a few quizzes and scavenger hunts which were amazing. it ended in the shambles which is a great opportunity to go explore and visit the Harry Potter shops! Would definitely recommend 😁

  Ellie was great with my son and us older folk. Lots of knowledge of the surrounding area, quiz for fun. My son wants to do it again. Thank you very much The Beach Family

  Our tour guide Ellie was fantastic, she was really lovely and enthusiastic!! Our group was only small but it was a really good experience. Loads of Harry Potter questions and a guide around York and learnt some interesting facts

  Ellie was a great guide and really upbeat and knowledgeable on not just Harry Potter but the spooky history of York too. Full of quizzes and interactive moments, our group all got along really well and laughed a lot. Would definately recommend this tour. Thanks for an amazing couple of hours Ellie! (Also top tier bookshop recommendations too!)

  The tour guide we were with was Ellie and she was always very cheerful and funny. The tour was very interesting and we learnt a lot. We had quizzes and games about Harry Potter and about the city. We also learnt about the stories and things that happened in York as well as Harry Potter. Anyone who's reading this, I really recommend it and you have to go and try it out. It's a great experience for anyone who is a Harry Potter fan and for anyone who likes learning about York.

  We were with Ellie who was a great tour guide, she was so knowledgeable about York but also everything about Harry Potter! We did enjoy the 2hr walk which we will surely recommend to our friends who are also Harry Potter fans!

• Worst experience ever, No proper Harry Potter locations, Boring guide

  I normally don’t give bad reviews at all but this was literally the worst experience ever and I had to leave a review for other families to not get scammed. This review is actually for the guide herself who didn’t want to be there from the first second and she literally told us that we should feel free to leave early 3-4 times since it’s a cold day, but in a disrespectful way. The tour was supposed to be visiting Harry Potter locations but she spent the first hour at the pickup point talking about York’s history more than Harry Potter. I won’t talk about the boring quizzes took ages. We had to leave early because she didn’t take us any proper Harry Potter locations. Another person also left probably the same reason. So, it was no where near a Harry Potter experience, it was a waste of time and money! I am surprised how they have this high score, maybe had better guides before.
