We had a great time on our tour. Rodney was very personable, charismatic, and gave us a great sense of the community and culture. The food was amazing, along with the local bars where we got to experience the local scene. Highly recommend.

The tour was very fun. We went to two restaurants and got to try several completely different things at each, all were delicious. We went to two small bars and got a drink at each. The first drink was included at each place. Other drinks would have been on us, but we really didn’t need more. Reuben, our guide was interesting and helpful. He is an American who has lived in Osaka for 20 years. He was able to offer lots of suggestions on other things to do. Overall it was a very good tour that I would recommend to others.

I’ve been on many of these Viator tours and this was one of my all time favorites. Danyk is funny, full of energy and seems to genuinely love showing people Osaka. The food was delicious and I went to little out of the way bars and restaurants I would never have found otherwise.

The title of the tour says it all! We had so much fun with our group. Everyone was so lovely and down to try all the food that came our way. Ruben expertly shepherded our group through busy backstreets and tiny alleys, and took us to places that would have been difficult for us to find on our own (even with Google maps!) He even shared helpful words and phrases that we can use only in Osaka and also made sure that everyone knew how to get to their hotels when the tour ended. It was the loveliest and most fun introduction to Osaka.
