  This was one of the best experience we had done in Costa Rica. The scenery was incredible from the waterfall to the water flowing down the river. Manuel made sure we were safe throughout the whole journey! Worth the money !!!

  We took a guide at the entrance to the Parking, price 30E for 2 people, we gave him 40E..... this walk was superb, we were able to see the 5 waterfalls, you still have to be used to walking a little, the descent is relatively easy, but slippery in places....the beautiful waterfalls, you can swim with the guidance of the guide.....Then it was necessary to start the ascent and I admit to suffering a little, hip prostheses, but very proud of my performance...   The falls were amazing!! I wouldn’t describe this tour as easy, but most definitely worth the hike in and out. Our guide, Manuel, was very helpful and made sure we had the best experience. He was accompanied by his dad who was also very helpful in getting us through some of the rapids. Would HIGHLY recommend! We will for sure be bringing more friends to enjoy. This was one of the best tours we have been on in our many trips to Costa Rica.

  Best hike experience ever!! Highly recommended if you are open to hiking into the wild. This was not a paved path. Thankfully our guide had been hiking through this area since he was a child.

  The tour was fantastic. Great scenery and a wonderful tour guide. I highly recommend this trek to the falls. Truely memorable.

  Manuel is the BEST - He took us on an amazing hike to see the unbelievably beautiful waterfalls in the area. He picked us up, stopped for a snack, was an amazing host during the hikes, then dropped us off at home. The most impressive attribute to Manuel is AFTER our stay in La Fortuna he continued to WhatsApp us ideas for us to do ourselves (self guided) in the other areas of CR we visited!!! I HIGHLY recommend getting to know Manuel! Pura Vida

  It was the highlight of our time in La Fortuna! Manuel was an amazing guide and photographer. I recommend anyone who is able to do these types of hikes, do it!! My husband and I hike 3-5 miles quite regularly at medium altitudes and didn’t find it overly challenging but having some level of physical fitness is helpful because of the elevation change and rocky terrain. The hike in was awesome, with lots of river crossings and waterfalls along the way. We saw 2 sides of the canyon, both were absolutely gorgeous. Manuel was so easy to work with when planning our trip and he was very knowledgeable about the area and ecosystem. He pointed out a lot of plants and animals along the way. It was also nice to get away from the touristy places and experience something only a local could take you to. We’ll remember this one forever!!
