  Fabulous experience. Everything was thoroughly planned and everyone was nice. Thank you. Do not hesitate to book even during cold season because they had bring many things to protect us against the cold, it was totally okay.

  Marvin is a very knowledgeable and competent guide, I arrived a few hours later because my bus was very late and did not reorganize the desert tour just for me!!! In the evening we chatted very nicely about life and it was very interesting. Totally recommended!

• Into the desert...

  We specifically sought a non (less) touristy tour option for the desert. We were looking for nature, simplicity, and a personal experience. We weren't interested in dance or Jeep dune driving. Yes, I admit we were tourists enough to be curious about camel riding ;-). The area around Jaisalmer was subjected to exceptionally heavy rain in the days preceding the tour, and more (light) rain was forecast the day/night of our booking. However, our desire to pursue the experience coupled to Marvin's expertise and resourcefulness convinced us to confirm the tour. Following the visit to the lake and abandoned village we were hailed as rainmakers in the village where the camel tour kicks off as we enjoyed an hour or so of exceptionally heavy rain on arrival. We cooled our heels and played cards in one of the village houses. When the rain cleared, we set off (on camels) for what was to be an unforgettable night-time desert experience. Great food, great people and a beautiful, serene environment. I cannot thank nor recommend Marvin highly enough for what will be one of the highlights of our three week northern India roadtrip!

  

  

  

  

  

  

• A night in thar desert

  Took this tour with my friends, there were other travellers clubbed in this tour. From Jaisalmer we started and took a camel safari from Sam desert. We meet our friendly experienced desert guide. They introduced us with our camel. Then our guide leads us into the desert. We enjoyed to explore the sand dunes see the beauty of desert flora and fauna and watched a spectacular sunset over the dunes of Thar Desert. We enjoyed a delicious dinner around a campfire which is prepared by camel guys and experienced sleep under the billions of stars and incredible moon rise. The next morning, we enjoyed sunrise over dunes with locally made masala chai which was so fantastic. The overall arrangements were well organised and totally safe. Highly recommended.

  It was a trip with friends. We started camel safari post afternoon and witnessed some amazing and rare desert flora and fauna. It was stunning how life happens in the wild. We stayed in the desert overnight. Our guide cooked food for us. It was simple meal which felt good under the star-studded sky. We got nice beddings to sleep in front of our camp fire and the sky looked stunning. Early morning, we saw Venus and later had breakfast. We again headed towards the hotel. Our guide was nice, friendly and kind. He took good care of us. It was a good experience overall. Must try.

  Best night in desert Thar desert is quite mesmerising and vast. However, to look at its beauty in person is all together a very different feeling. Experience of camel safari was amazing, the camel was well maintained and looked properly rested. I loved the way the camel guy took care of the camel. Our guide offered us tea and sacks after the camel safari. He arranged dinner for us post sunset. It was an amazing experience to have a meal in the desert under the star-studded sky. After a lot of stars gazing, we retired for the night. Woke up nice and fresh to a beautiful sunrise, I went for a short walk in the dunes early morning which was very soothing. A quick breakfast was arranged by our guide, there were fruits, bread, butter and tea. Later we left for the city after this wonderful experience. I made online booking for this trip. I highly recommend it.

  I did this trip with my friends; it was something long pending in my bucket list. Finally with the help of Marvin’s team we had a great trip. The tour package had camel and jeep safari. We did the camel safari through the most beautiful dunes. I love animals and there we got to introduce ourselves to the camel. I loved this friendly approach with animals. Our camel was beautifully decorated and looked well rested. We roamed in the desert with our camel and the guide. The guide was experienced and also showed us some wild vegetation around our path. After sunset we had dinner around the campfire. It was arranged by our guide, simple yet delicious food under billions of stars was an outstanding experience. I never experienced something like this before. On sunrise we had some refreshment and came back to the city. I felt the experience was safe, and a great opportunity to connect with nature.

  Offbeat desert – Unforgettable experience It was one of its kind experiences. I travelled from Delhi to Jaisalmer and stayed in the Sam desert for 3 nights. And spent one night in the desert. After a desert safari in the dunes. I along with few co travellers spent time watching the sunset. As we saw the sun setting the evening sky turned into millions of sparking stars. And beautiful night sky appeared, there was no moon that night so starts were nicely visible. Stayed in the desert overnight, our guide arranged meal for us. We had decent bedding to spend the night with bon fire. It’s a nice experience, people who love nature and seek adventure.

  I must say, witnessing star studded sky in the desert🏝️was on my travel list for the longest time I took a desert safari, a non touristy one. We had Raju ( guide/camel guy) and the camel 🐪 Romeo. Romeo and I walked in the sand dunes, he enjoyed the sunset with me and went back. The organiser (Marvin camp & camel safari) had organised a high tea for me in the dunes. It looked just magical. There were stars as far as I could see and hardly any light pollution. It was the most beautiful evening in desert 🏝️🏜️ I am doing this again for sure in winters. A must have experience
