Koh Madsum or Pig Island. It’s a popular island for enjoying its white-sand beach, and it also offers great opportunities for chilling out in the sunshine. There are a lot of lovely pigs on the island. You can play with them and take a nice photo there. Also, Koh Tan, it's surrounded by pristine coral reefs and pure white sandy beaches here. This island is a nice place to do snorkeling and see some real genuine underwater critters (Parrot fish, Coral), and also enjoy lunch at the restaurant

A great way to spend a half day in Koh Samui. Our guide Yai was hilarious and fun. The tour is well organized and the staff is lovely. Fun to island hop and see the pigs. The snorkel break was also really fun but do not set your expectations to Caribbean or Great Barrier Reef levels for the wildlife. I would still highly recommend this as a fun day in the sun and water to friends or families.

The island that we were taken to to snorkel is filled with trash. The Thai government should be ashamed and no Tour Guide should ever bring anyone there.

the beach with the pigs was pretty gross- full of rubbish and lots and lots of people. we didn't learn anything on the tour at all at any of the spots. not good weather for snorkelling so we walked through the mangroves- again didn't actually learn anything

The activity was well organised. We got a text msg the day before to let us know pick up time from hotel. The team were all friendly and efficient in organising the tour group on arrival. Pig Island was an interesting experience and my daughter and friend loved feeding them, stroking and taking pictures. The island is white sands and pretty.. The water was cloudy at the snorkelling (after pig island) but we were advised that was because there had been a storm recently. Lunch was basic. When we arrived I think everyone was surprised how little there was for 31 people. Tbf it probably did feed everyone but you were def sure to only take a small portion. Water was generously handed out throughout the trip. For the cost of the trip, it is pretty good value. Maybe take a snack if you think you could get hungry! Alex the guide was very friendly, funny and also made sure everyone knew actually what to do eg when to meet up etc

My rating is no reflection upon Alex or the boat crew. The crew were very attentive and did their job very well. Alex is one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. He’s very funny, caring and sadly wasted on this particular trip. Nothing but praise for him. The lunch was also really nice. Pig Island its self however is extremely underwhelming and very dirty (litter). The snorkelling could have been ok if the water was clear. Overall, I would advise people to avoid going to Pig Island all together. Don’t believe the hype of social media as it looks nothing like the photos. Upon reflection we also wonder what happens to the pigs as surely the island would have become heavily populated with pigs?
