We specialize in a more EXCITING and INTERACTIVE Whale and Dolphin Watching experience on our fast, state of the art 26' commercial built center console boats - where speed, comfort and safety come first. This on the water experience is all about Comfort, Connection and Customization. We have the speed to access more whales and dolphins, and allows us more time with the amazing wildlife.
All of our trips are limited to 2-6 passengers offering The Ultimate Whale & Dolphin Watching experience in a 2hr tour of the coastal waters off Newport Beach, Orange County, CA. No more big slow boats with 100+ people crammed on. This trip is all about you!

5.00What a truly wonderful experience!! The boat ride was very bumpy but SO exciting! Ofcourse going out in nature there's no guarantee of what you'll see or not see, but we were lucky to see 2 pods of dolphins!! We were in awe of how many dolphins there were and how amazing it was. A small disappoint not to see any whales, but that's ok. That just means I'll have to go back out there again, lol! A huge plus was having such a great Captain - Nick! He was very informative and enthusiastic, and made our experience overall so great and memorable! I would definitely recommend this =)

5.00Nick was a great captain. The boat is excellent for dolphin or whale watching. He put the boat within a group of dolphin and it was like we were swimming with them. Right up next to the boat. A smaller boat like this can be more accommodating than a larger one. Would absolutely do again.

5.00Captain Nick was wonderful. He did his best to make sure everyone had a good time. We saw a pod of about 100 dolphins that swam with us for quite a while. We did see one whale briefly.

5.00We had a wonderful time! Captain Nick is both welcoming and knowledgeable and the speed of the small boat alone made the trip fun. We enjoyed a large pod of dolphins dance under and around our boat. And one even did belly-up jumps through our wake! As it turned out we didn’t actually see any whales, but had a great time all the same.
Fun afternoon! Kids loved the dolphins!

5.00Enjoyed a few hours out with 2 teens. The girls had a blast! No whales that day, but hundreds of dolphins, including many babies and many other critters…seals, sea lions, etc! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We would absolutely do it again!

5.00We went on a Dolphin/Whale watching excursion with Nick from East Meets West yesterday morning. It was honestly the trip of a lifetime! Nick was our captain and is extremely knowledgeable about marine life. We learned all kinds of facts about dolphins & whales! Nick went out of his way to see a huge pod of dolphins we spotted! Being on a smaller boat we were able to go faster and farther than the larger sight seeing boats. The boat was clean and seats were extremely comfortable. Nick also made sure my daughter-in-law was doing okay as she was extremely nervous. We unfortunately did not see any whales, but saw more dolphins than I’ve ever seen before! And Nick even stopped and let us see a group of sea lions hanging out! I would hands down recommend East Meets West to anyone seeking adventure & to get up close & personal views of the marine animals! Thank you, Nick for an amazing experience! We will be back!

5.00Captain Nick was the absolute best!!! He was friendly and knowledgeable. He gave very specific directions (navigating the area can be tricky) which helped immensely. The boat was perfect! Smaller boat for a 5-6 person private tour that had speed to catch up to the dolphins and cover a large area to see dolphins, whales, seals and a variety of birds. It was the perfect outing. High recommend!
