During this quiet and human-sized visit, I take you for a stroll in one of the oldest districts of Paris, where the steps still echo from the student debates of the Sorbonne, the verses of the cursed poets, or the whispers of history.
More than just a historical setting, the Latin Quarter is a lively, curious place full of surprises, which I take you to discover at your own pace, without missing anything big and small.
Through this tour, I offer you a look both grounded in the past and connected to the dynamic life of today’s neighborhood. An authentic, quiet and always unique and surprising experience

You can go around the building through the small alleys and stopping for a moment in the student cafes. This is an opportunity to see the different eras that overlap on this unique building, and to learn more about the life of the Latin Quarter, which was built around this monument.

Always passing through the small streets, the walk will allow us to discover the impressive architecture of this monument which overlooks the district, and to talk a little about its unique history.

5.00Wonderful authentic walk in the real life of local Parisians, far from tourist sites. Small culinary tasting as a bonus:) We were 2 adults and an 11 year old girl, Louis adapted wonderfully. It was very pleasant.

5.00Louise our tour guide was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable and suited the tour to our interests. We learnt so much about the history of the Latin quarter at a really enjoyable pace. The time flew by.
Visit places you didn’t know and see them from a different angle!

5.00Brazilian living in Paris, I had the opportunity to discover the secrets of the Latin Quarter thanks to this tour! The script was adapted to the age of the participants (8 people aged 3 to 87). The information was pertinent and interesting. Punctual, available, Louise respected our pace and made us smile many times. A loving guide! Thank you for this moment. I recommend!

5.00Everything was superb! La Cousine was professional, knowledgeable, and one of the friendliest I’ve met. I loved how she described both the history and present day trends of the Latin Quarter. “Les Arènes de Lutèce” was one of the most unique spots to visit. It is totally Latin! This was a perfect experience for me. Again, I’m very impressed Viator!

5.00A beautiful 2.5 hour cultural tour through Paris in the footsteps of Simone De Beauvoir, and guided by Louise, a passionate person, the explanations are very clear. Rue de Rennes, Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon, Montparnasse cemetery, etc...the opportunity to discover Paris. I recommend and I would return soon for another course.

5.00Guided tour in Paris which combines culture and discovery in complete privacy. The journey is very interesting, reading passages from the book in the right place allows you to project yourself and become immersed in the story that Louise tells us. Louise is also kind and attentive to her audience, which makes the ride even more enjoyable 😊
