• Alex is the best guide!

  Our guide, Alex, was a very kind, knowledgeable, and safe guide for our full day adventure across Belize. We were picked up at our Airbnb in Placencia then he drove us to Xunantunich. He educated us on culture, farming, architecture, and traditions of Belize along the way. Xunantunich was mesmerizing. If you want to climb the ruins, bring tennis shoes and strong quad muscles. Then Alex took us to lunch at Hode’s, which was delicious! We had quesadillas(they made the best tortillas) and beans with rice and meat with au jus type sauce(my favorite was beef). Then we headed for some cave kayaking. We navigated some cave systems and saw bats and little fish. It was a fun little river to take a ride down. I didn’t care for the sheer amount of people there, but it was still a lot of fun. The car ride there and back was nearly 3 hours each way but Alex kept us entertained and even brought us refreshments to enjoy. The entire family had a great day and I would highly recommend this adventure to anyone coming to Belize. We had kids age 15,14,13 and 12.

  We had the BEST time at the Mayan ruins and cave tubing. Our guide, Alex Awe was amazing; so very knowledgeable, personal, funny and considerate. He absolutely made our day! There were several of us and Alex quickly was part of our family! As for the tours, very interesting and awe inspiring. Our guide, Alex was able to answer questions and provide facts, not just about the ruins but also about life in Belize. We felt it was very important that he was brought up in rural Belize. That context was very interesting. The caves were an easy glide and not claustrophobic at all. They were beautiful and the hike to get to them was beautiful and not strenuous.   Had an excellent experience with Truly Wild Belize. Our first time in Belize. Beautiful country and amazing people. We did Xunantunich and cave tubing one day, zip lining and waterfalls another day, and used them to transport us to and from the airport with a party of 8. Highly recommended Jonathan for the tours as he did all of our and was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and put us all at ease. Kai transported us from the airport to our rental property and had us laughing the whole way. Great company with great people working for them. Highly recommended and we will use them when we return.

  Our entire extended family agreed that Israel was the best tour guide we've ever had! He was very professional and his knowledge was off the charts! We believe the tour companies work together to give everyone the best experience possible and we HIGHLY recommend both Belize Inland Adventures and Truly Wild Belize!!

  We enjoyed a wonderful day learning about the Mayan people and tubing through the caves. Israel was a super tour guide! Very knowledgeable, pointed out tons of stuff we would have missed, and helped make a great memory for our family!

  Isreal was amazing! He picked us up on time, drove professionally, & stopped when we needed to. Isreal was very knowledgeable about places that we passed & knew so much trivia about Xunantunich & the caves & jungle. I didn't think I could get to the top of Xunantunich. Isreal was kind & made sure I felt safe & helped me every step of the way. If it wasn't for Isreal, I wouldn't have made it to the top for that beautiful view. He truly was the best.

  Isreal is amazing!! He was very patient and kind. He helped one of our party conquer her fears. He helped her climb to the top of El Castillo. He never left her side. I would highly recommend Truly Wild tours and Isreal. They are the best!

  While the drive was long from Placencia, the tour was fabulous. Ask for Alex to be your guide! He was chock full of information, great sense of humor, and an all around awesome tour guide

  We cannot say enough good things about Alex as our tour guide! He went above and beyond to make this the best experience for our group of 10. His extensive knowledge of Mayan history and Belizean lore along with his awesome humor made this day amazing. It was a busy day but he still had a great attitude even after all of those hours. I can’t even say what our favorite part was but the zip lining was my personal favorite. Thanks Alex!!

  We booked private tours for our group of 8, we did the Mayan Ruins and cave tubing with Israel who is truly knowledgeable and fun! We also did the island snorkeling and private resort restaurant with the best food and drinks ever. Captain Akim the Dream and Louis his mate, were amazing boaters made sure the day was one to remember! Jason was there for any and every thing we needed! Through out our stay! Even arranged for us to have a private massage at our villa, which was amazing! All the ladies were happy and relaxed! Very reasonable and worth every penny for the true Belize experience! Our many thanks!
