5.00Our guide Elisabetta was so friendly and very knowledgeable. She made the entire tour go so well. She met us at the exact meeting point and time as stated and then led us through the tour giving us a lot of information about the Colosseum, the Forum and the Hill. Though the private tour is expensive it was well worth it. We were able to move around all of the areas covered in the tour so easily, we were able to hear everything that Elisabetta said and were able to ask her questions along the way. Plenty of time to take pictures. It was a great tour that i would recommend and she was a terrific guide that you would be lucky to get assigned to your tour.

5.00Liv Tours did a great job in managing all of our tours in Rome. Our guide for the Colosseum was Ciara and she was absolutely excellent. We started early (8:30) which was a great idea considering the crowds. We entered the arena floor and it was not crowded (you must have access to this area and Liv arranged everything). Ciara explained everything perfectly and had great descriptions and pictures of the current state vs the historic. We then explored the upper levels before exiting and exploring the rest of the ancient area including the palaces, some newly opened areas (again - special passes required) and the Forum. All along the way Ciara did an amazing job showing us the important things to understand and how to tell the original from the reconstructed.
10/10 tour!

5.00This tour was amazing! We had Marco and he was so good at educating us on the history in an easy to understand way. The Roman forums and colleseum were the highlight of our quick 48 hrs in Rome. Highly highly recommend this tour!

5.00Our tour of the Colosseum and Roman forum with Priscilla was one of my favorite tours of our whole trip. She made the tour very personalized to our wants and our pace. My father has mild mobility issues due to a knee surgery and she was always mindful of the speed we were walking and offering alternative routes if she was concerned about excessive stairs or inclines. She was happy to answer all of our questions and was so knowable but approachable in her delivery. It was a pleasure to meet her and to spend the afternoon learning about the rich and fascinating history of Rome.

5.00We took the Private Colosseum Tour with Arena Access, Gladiators’ Gate & Ancient City on October 7, 2025, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Lucy. From the very start, she made our group of six feel welcome and at ease. Her knowledge of Roman history is impressive, but what really stood out was how she brought it to life—sharing stories and details that made us see the Colosseum and the ancient ruins in a whole new way. Walking through the Gladiators’ Gate and stepping out onto the arena floor was unforgettable, and Lucy’s insights made those moments even more meaningful. The pace was perfect—never rushed—and she kept everyone engaged the whole time. This tour ended up being one of the true highlights of our trip to Rome. Lucy has a gift for making history feel alive and personal. We’re so grateful to her and to LivTours for an experience we’ll never forget.

5.00Lucy was an absolutely wonderful tour guide! Her storytelling was engaging and her explanations were clear, detailed, and easy to follow. What really stood out was her ability to connect with everyone in our group — we had both older and younger participants, and she found the perfect middle ground to make the experience enjoyable for all. She was patient, understanding, and made sure everyone felt included and comfortable throughout the tour. The tour was very informative, beautifully paced, and overall a fantastic experience.
