Amber Bay
Amber Bay is known as one of the first places where amber was found in 1855, when the Curonian Lagoon was deepened. Today, traditional reed sculptures are built here for the Joninės festival and later burned during a celebration.

5.00So worth the skip the line ferry crossing saving waiting time and maximize the time spent on the Corunia Spit. Arthur was an excellent and enthusiastic tour guide. So friendly and full of stories and local knowledge. He made sure that we enjoyed the tour at our speed and according to our interest.

5.00Fantastic day out on the Curonian Spit! Artur was an awesome guide! He picked us up at our hotel right on time, and we spent the day with him exploring the very scenic and fascinating Curonian Spit. He is very knowledgeable about the area as that is where he was born and raised and still lives there today. He knows all about Lithuanian history. Do not hesitate to book this day tour! Neringa Tours is a family run business and very experienced.

5.00The tour from nine to 15.00 was first class. Artur is from Nidda and has extreme knowledge of Latvia and the spit. His German very good. The ride in VW Bus was very pleasant. I can recommend Neringa Tours!

5.00Picked up at hotel a few minutes early. Had a full 7+ hours of beautiful sites and great history to go along with it. Arturos is a great guide with information about the spit that it both textbook and from a local’s perspective. He also took the time at the end to recommend further things to see in the area snd around the rest of the Baltics. I highly recommend.

5.00Impeccable service. The pick up from our hotel in Klaipeda was punctual and Aurelius then took us to the most characteristic places of the Curonian Spit. His explanations were very clear and really interesting. He answered all our questions and organized the visit according to our needs. The means of transport is very convenient. We definitely recommend this excursion that we really enjoyed. Aurelius does not speak Italian, but for those who get by with English he is definitely the Top!

5.00June 2024: We arrived in Klaipeda on a cruise ship and did not know how to visit the Curonian Spit, as the tour places organized by the ship had been allocated. In the port area we met the German-speaking local guide, Mr. Jgoris Osnac with his MiniVan. Three other tourists were already waiting with him. After a short information interview we decided to go on this ride. And we didn't regret it, it was great: He showed us everything and explained, stopped when we wanted to take a closer look, gave us interesting information about the country and people - and last but not least - he told us a lot about amber, as he is a passionate amber fisherman himself and also leads such tours. This excellent day tour cost only an incredible €50 per person. We will never forget this impressive excursion and would like to thank Mr Osnac once again along the way.
