Dongchuan Red Land

At 7:30am, you will be picked up from your centrally located Kunming hotel, and take 3-hour car ride to Dongchuan Red Land. It is a huge area and well-known for the red soil. You can take many photos at Yuepuao Village, Huashitou Village, and Wafanglianzi Village etc. At about 4pm, you will take the car ride back to your Kunming hotel where the tour concludes.

Our experience was extremely disappointing. 1/ the guide, Jerry, does not speak English correctly and it is very difficult to understand; 2/ he did not explain or tell us anything, for the 3h drive we only had 10 minutes of explanation on the way and he slept on the return; 3/ if the Enterprise had been honest it should have cancelled or offered us another excursion because there was fog, rain, and we saw absolutely nothing! 6h car to drive us with stubbornness to both viewpoints totally blocked by the fog.
