In the morning tourist guide and driver pick you up from your hotel at about 8.00 – 8.30 Bus drive 170 km to the Northeast of Viet Nam ( 3,5 hrs ). Along the way you can enjoy the stunning scenery of the Red River delta with peaceful villages, farmers working in their green fields, herding their water buffalos, flocking their ducks, trading garden herbs by the side of the road. We also make a stop on the half way to stretch our legs, enjoy a coffee or tea… before we continue our trip to Ha Long Bay. Arrive in Ha Long bay at about 12.00. The tour guide takes you to the boat for cruising Ha Long Bay (4-5 hours). Seafood lunch is served while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascapeon the boat. After lunch, you have a chance to visit one of the most beautiful cave in Ha Long bay- Thien Cung cave or the Palace of Heaven Grotto (where in 1288 one of Vietnam’s most famous Generals Tran Hung Dao amassed hundreds of stakes deep inside the cave prior to a battle with an invading Mongol army). We walking up to the middle of the island, then go inside of the cave to exploring. There are a lot of stalagmites and stalactites look like some animals.

5.00Spent the day on Ha Long Bay. The bay was smooth and the stops were a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the cave that we went through. Nothing like it in the US. It is a must see. The lunch provide was delicious and handled a special allergy. Our tour guide Hine was top rate with his local knowledge and history.

5.00Johnny was a spectacular host: highly communicative, punctual, knowledgeable and caring. The food was absolutely amazing. The scenery was something else with the gorgeous karts and sparkly caves. No overcrowding that we saw, and the area was relatively clean compared to what I expected based on some other reviews of Ha Long Bay! Highly recommend.

5.00It was such an amazing tour! Our guide Hoan was absolutely lovely, explaining about the history of Vietnam, answering our questions so well, and even providing options for us so we could go to other interesting areas like the pearl farm! The boat trip around Ha Long Bay simply brought our screens to life, and the stop at the Heavenly Palace cave was absolutely breathtaking, though we do encourage those who come to train their stamina a little as there were quite a number of steps! Overall would recommend!
