Dong Thien Cung
In the morning tourist guide and driver pick you up from your hotel at about 8.00 – 8.30 Bus drive 170 km to the Northeast of Viet Nam ( 3,5 hrs ). Along the way you can enjoy the stunning scenery of the Red River delta with peaceful villages, farmers working in their green fields, herding their water buffalos, flocking their ducks, trading garden herbs by the side of the road. We also make a stop on the half way to stretch our legs, enjoy a coffee or tea… before we continue our trip to Ha Long Bay. Arrive in Ha Long bay at about 12.00. The tour guide takes you to the boat for cruising Ha Long Bay (4-5 hours). Seafood lunch is served while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascapeon the boat. After lunch, you have a chance to visit one of the most beautiful cave in Ha Long bay- Thien Cung cave or the Palace of Heaven Grotto (where in 1288 one of Vietnam’s most famous Generals Tran Hung Dao amassed hundreds of stakes deep inside the cave prior to a battle with an invading Mongol army). We walking up to the middle of the island, then go inside of the cave to exploring. There are a lot of stalagmites and stalactites look like some animals.

5.00A great day-trip from Hanoi (total excision was ~9 hours). Boating through Ha Long Bay was beautiful & opportunities to explore caves on foot and by small craft was also fun. An ample lunch served on the boat paired with an excellent and professional guide (Johnny) throughout the day made this private tour a good value. As a bonus we stopped at a pearl factory on the way out which was also quite fun!

5.00This city was very special. We work almost in the industrial high-end service in US and realized that Halong city will be a big deal for our investment for future. Thanks to our last visit centre to North Vietnam, we could see the big change and big chance for our plan.

5.00Super easy logistics for a trip that includes a lot of travel. We also did the trip with our 11 month old and eveything worked out perfectly. We used our own car seat for the baby and there's no need for a stroller on this tour. The boat ride through the bay was so relaxing, the food was good (some of the best fried fish I ever had), and everyone involved was very helpful.
