Batu Caves
9.30am - Batu Caves The limestone forming Batu Caves is said to be around 400 million years old, and you can see the largest statue of an Indian God named Murugan right in front of the cave. Since 1892, the Thaipusam festival in the Tamil month of Thai (which falls in late January/early February) has been celebrated there, and this season is a very sacred and grand day for Malaysian Indian. So you will not surprise that around the Batu Cave area is full of our Indian friends nearby.
