Our separate guide and driver allows us to give your group the attention it deserves. Our guide accompanies you on the majority of the stops and we also give you free time to enjoy the area. You will see Culloden Battlefield, Clava Cairns, the city of Inverness, and Loch Ness, including getting to meet the Loch Ness Monster Hunter! The tour ends with a visit to Singleton Distillery.
There is also an option to add on a visit to cawdor castle for an additional fee.
In between stops enjoy expert commentary on the history, folklore and customs of the area, Scottish music, authentic snacks and drinks, and most of all fantastic craic!

Invergordon
We’ll pick you up from the shuttle bus stop (Stop 1) at Invergordon Cruise Port with a warm Highland welcome, ready to start our day exploring the beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Our female guide will meet you off the shuttle bus with a sign showing your name. They will be wearing blue tartan trousers!
Culloden Battlefield
Our first stop will be Culloden Battlefield. We will walk around the battlefield while learning about the atrocities that occured here on the 16th April 1746. The ripples from the battle are still felt in the Highlands today and our guide will explain with passion how it changed our culture forever. They will take you to a great viewpoint and show you where the troops stood facing one another before the Jacobites were slaughtered. You will also be shown the makeshift hospital cottage, the grave markers and other points of interest before being given some free time to absorb the atmosphere of this haunting historical site. There are restrooms at this stop for your comfort.

5.00Michelle communicated with me and answered questions. She advised me on putting a proper itinerary together. Today she and Finella fulfilled our wish list. They were on time and had given us directions the day prior. Our group of 10 loved the attention they gave us. Finella shared wonderful history and personal stories. Michelle drove like a pro. It will forever be one of my favorite tours. Son’t miss this opportunity.

5.00I hardly ever leave reviews, but these guys are the best! I learned so much while they made history come alive and fun while seeing incredible places. We never felt rushed and they totally adapted to whatever we needed or wanted to do. I can or recommend them highly enough

5.00We had the most amazing day!! Finella & Michelle are the best. From the minute they picked us up to drop off was so easy. Every stop explained and showed us what we wanted to see and more . We tried local goodies and got a close up and personal with some Highland Coos .We loved these two .
Highly recommended. They made us know and love the highlands and had many details. Water snacks

5.00A fantastic experience! We are a Spanish family, and although most of us speak English, the team made a great effort to provide some explanations in Spanish during the tour. We were traveling with a 4-year-old kid, and they had a lovely gesture with her, which we really appreciated. They also kindly offered us some snacks along the way. Such friendly people who truly enjoy what they do — we would definitely recommend them!

5.00We were a family group of ten Finella & Michelle met us 15 minutes early at the cruise port with their van and bottled water. Finella took a few minutes to help another couple whose guide didn’t show up. They the took us on a fun, entertaining and informative family excursion through Inverness covering all the sites and teaching us all its history complete with local treats. These ladies are real good showing off their country. Best small group tour you will take.
