7 UNESCO sites (9-11 Hours): Pashupati Nath, Boudha Nath, Changu Narayan Temple, Swyambhu Nath, Patan, Kathmandu & Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Note: Only Nepali & Indian nationals of the Hindu are permitted to enter the inner premises of Hindu temples during the tour.

Complimentary pick-up and drop-off services are provided from hotels located in Kathmandu city centers. Additional charges may apply for pick-up or drop-off outside these areas.
Feel free to take a lunch break during the tour. Consult with your guide for recommendations on highly recommended restaurants, and enjoy a wonderful dining experience.
Entrance fees in Nepali rupees can be paid at the entrance of each site, with lower fees for SAARC nationalities. Fees are NPR 1400 for 2 UNESCO sites, NPR 2600 for 4 sites, and NPR 5800 for 7 sites.

5.00Shankar was a great guide. He was very attentive and knowledgeable, and took good care of me for the day. We visited some very interesting sites and he was always able to answer my questions and offer informative insights. Lombard was also a good driver. Very friendly and always felt safe.

5.00This tour was fabulous. My tour guide Preshant and our driver were very professional-I learned a lot about the city and the history behind Hinduism and Buddhism. It was a great way to see all 7 UNESCO world heritage sites in one day and learn a lot about the city at the same time. The tour was comfortable and we ended at a restaurant overlooking the largest stupa in Kathmandu. I’d definitely recommend this tour to friends and family if they visit here.

5.00⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Kathmandu UNESCO World Heritage Sites Tour We did the Major Highlights of Kathmandu UNESCO tour, covering Patan Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa, and it was extremely well done. One of the most meaningful aspects of the tour was learning about the impact of the earthquake and how challenging it has been to restore these ancient heritage sites. Seeing the ongoing reconstruction and understanding the care required to preserve history gave us a deep appreciation for Nepal’s resilience and cultural heritage. Our guide Prashanth was exceptionally knowledgeable. His explanations were clear, respectful, and very informative. We especially appreciated how he explained the cultural cremation rituals at Pashupatinath, which helped us understand their deep spiritual significance rather than just observing as tourists. The tour was well paced, thoughtfully organised, and gave us a genuine understanding of Kathmandu’s history, religion, and living culture. This experience added great depth to our visit and helped us truly connect with Nepal beyond just sightseeing. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kathmandu who wants a meaningful and educational cultural experience

5.00We, as a couple, toured with Shankar for 2 days through all the 7 UNESCO sites. On our first night, we visited the Pashupatinath Temple and witnessed the priests’ cremation ritual as well as the evening aarati. He provided us with an intro to Hinduism, a religion that is new to us and insightful of so many different aspects of life, reincarnation, and the concepts of karma and darma. The evening prayer was solemn and witnessing it is something I will remember forever. The next day, we visited the other 6 UNESCO sites. I can happily say that I can remember key aspects of each site. We spent the most time in Kathmandu Durban Square. Shankar was able to weave in the history of Nepal as well as the religious aspects of Hinduism and Buddhism. We were able to eat Newari cuisine for lunch. We also bought a mandala painting (?powa) that I will hang in our home. We spent more time on our tours because we are generally interested in religion, architecture, and history. Overall, A++. Transportation was provided by drivers Madhu and Parshuram! Thank you Breakfree Adventures. This has made our time in Kathmandu worthwhile and comprehensive.

5.00Dipesh was an amazing guide - I learned so much! He is very informed & speaks English very well so he was able to any all my questions. I highly recommend this tour if you visit Nepal. You will see and discover so much more about the history of Nepal and both the Hindu & Buddhist religions. I would give both Dipesh and this tour a 6 star review if I could!!!

5.00I had an absolutely wonderful day trip through 4 key sites in Kathmandu on a tour led by Shankar as my guide and with Sujan as my driver. Firstly, Shankar has a deep understanding of Nepalese culture and world history. We spent hours exploring the city and discussing all my questions about philosophy, culture, religion, and history of Nepal and the larger region. I truly learned so much from his knowledge and felt welcomed to ask questions, by his warm attitude. Shankar is the kind of guide that you can really tell he has a passion for and curiosity about culture and history, which made the tour so much fun and engaging. Between Sujan’s great driving and Shankar’s presence and coordination of logistics, I felt in safe hands the entire day. Shankar also customized the trip to my needs and interests and was flexible with the day, while still managing to keep our program moving and on schedule. I did this tour during my 13 hour layover in Kathmandu and there wasn’t a moment I was stressed about time. Shankar was there to pick me up right when I exited the arrivals terminal and dropped me off on time to make my flight home.
