2 UNESCO sites (2-3 Hours): Visit Pashupati Nath Temple and Boudha Nath Stupa.

4 UNESCO sites (5-6 Hours): Explore Pashupati Nath, Boudha Nath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, and Swyambhu Nath Stupa.

7 UNESCO sites (9-11 Hours): Pashupati Nath, Boudha Nath, Changu Narayan Temple, Swyambhu Nath, Patan, Kathmandu & Bhaktapur Durbar Square

Note: Only Nepali & Indian nationals of the Hindu are permitted to enter the inner premises of Hindu temples during the tour.

Complimentary pick-up and drop-off services are provided from hotels located in Kathmandu city centers. Additional charges may apply for pick-up or drop-off outside these areas.

Feel free to take a lunch break during the tour. Consult with your guide for recommendations on highly recommended restaurants, and enjoy a wonderful dining experience.

Entrance fees in Nepali rupees can be paid at the entrance of each site, with lower fees for SAARC nationalities. Fees are NPR 1400 for 2 UNESCO sites, NPR 2600 for 4 sites, and NPR 5800 for 7 sites.

I had an absolutely wonderful day trip through 4 key sites in Kathmandu on a tour led by Shankar as my guide and with Sujan as my driver. Firstly, Shankar has a deep understanding of Nepalese culture and world history. We spent hours exploring the city and discussing all my questions about philosophy, culture, religion, and history of Nepal and the larger region. I truly learned so much from his knowledge and felt welcomed to ask questions, by his warm attitude. Shankar is the kind of guide that you can really tell he has a passion for and curiosity about culture and history, which made the tour so much fun and engaging. Between Sujan’s great driving and Shankar’s presence and coordination of logistics, I felt in safe hands the entire day. Shankar also customized the trip to my needs and interests and was flexible with the day, while still managing to keep our program moving and on schedule. I did this tour during my 13 hour layover in Kathmandu and there wasn’t a moment I was stressed about time. Shankar was there to pick me up right when I exited the arrivals terminal and dropped me off on time to make my flight home.

Shankar took us to the evening arati which was very impressive. In doing so, he told us a lot which gave a good idea of the ceromony.

My partner and I had a fabulous experience with Prashant, our guide, who was outstanding in every respect. Having been initially tempted by the seven-UNESCO-sites-in-one day package, we scaled back our aspirations to the four-site option, and even that may have been over-ambitious: dealing with the often jammed Kathmandu traffic and walking through the city’s maze of alleys can be tiring work, so we were quite exhausted after just two sites (the exquisite Swayambhunath “Monkey Temple” complex and the utterly mesmerising Patan Darbar Square in Lalitpur). But Prashant had not only planned the sequence of our tour perfectly, to make sure that we got to rest a bit over lunch (an unbelievably tasty Nepali thali and khaja at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the Boudha Stupa, our third site), but also was flexible enough to adjust our itinerary after that and replace our planned fourth stop (the Pashupatinath Temple, which as a non-Hindu I could not enter) with a walk through Thamul. Throughout the day — we were out for six hours — Prashant was unstintingly knowledgeable with his guidance, and solicitous of our needs and wishes. He is highly articulate in English; woh bhi achchhi Hindi bolta hai. Strongly recommended!

On this tour I was lucky enough to spend my day with my guide, Bajra. He made every moment enjoyable and engaging, in the midst of sharing his expansive knowledge on the heritage sites and nepalese culture there was also laughter. I couldn’t recommend this tour and specifically Bajra enough, definitely a highlight of my trip!!

I arrived at Kathmandu a couple of days in advance and took in this tour and lo and behold. The actual tour included all of the exact same activities! It was wonderful.

Amazing tour ! Bidhya was incredibly knowlegable and I was lucky enough to have her for two separate tours this trip. Definitely worth going with a guide. Would recommend this tour to anyone exploring Kathmandu.

Bidhya was a very good guide, happy to describe and answer any questions we had as well as going above and beyond to explain the places we toured. Hari was a confident and smooth driver and that was appreciated in the heavy Kathmandu traffic

Great way to see a number of the UNESCO sites around Kathmandu. The explanations about each site by Bidhya were helpful and easy to follow, giving great insight into local Hindu and Buddhist culture and practices. Plenty of time for us to take in the locations at our pace. Hari demonstrated with ease the way to negotiate chaotic kathmandu traffic. Money well spent.
