5.00Honestly, skip the big bus tours. We saw those crowds and were so glad to be in our quiet little minivan. Our driver was local and super friendly, telling us about the old watermills and how the park has changed over the years. It felt very authentic and not at all like a scripted marketing pitch.

5.00Krka is absolutely stunning, but what made it for us was the door-to-door service. Having a local driver who actually knows the shortcuts and the history of the Dalmatian coast added so much value. You can tell these guys love their home. It was a small group, so we didn't feel like we were being herded like sheep.

Our driver was a Split native and spoke perfect English, giving us all the backstories of the villages we passed on the way to the waterfalls.
