5.00Wonderful Ooku experience with my mother at this studio in the heart of historic Gion in Kyoto ! We loved the selection of Uchikake kimono that had a definite, unique authentic style that is a complete step-up from the regular, rental Yucata or kimono that most tourist rent. The material is heavy and richly decorated with ornate embroidery , and the hair and make-up team did a spectacular job transforming us. The photo session itself was partly guided and partly expressive with both the photographer and stylist giving useful suggestions for poses and props . The best part was the final photo selection with a variety of attractive themed backdrops and the opportunity to take home a physical copy of a pair of selected photos mounted in a hard carton frame . Definitely the highlight of our time in Kyoto ❤
