Upon arrival, we’ll begin our hike with a tranquil canyon descent along a meandering stream, leading to the tallest waterfall in Malibu, standing at an impressive 150 feet. Our tour begins with our convenient pick-up and drop-off services across Los Angeles. Step into our spacious, air-conditioned vehicle, and embark on a half day adventure as we cruise along the Pacific Coast Highway, enjoying pit stops along the way, before reaching our halfway point: Escondido Canyon and Falls. The journey to the falls typically takes around 30 minutes on foot, during which we'll pause to capture photos, enjoy a snack, stay hydrated, and savor the soothing sounds of the waterfall. The total adventure duration including transportation to and from the hotel pick up points usually ranges from 4 to 4.5 hours, depending on the group's size and demographics. 5.00AMAZING experience! Breanna was fantastic about answering my questions emailed to her prior to our trip; she and Lovensky showed up right on time for pick up at our hotel. Both Breanna and Lovensky were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional... just a delight to be with! The hike itself was incredible; just a great way to see the trails knowing you're with an experienced guide to help lead you (including helping us all balance on some stream crossings!). The waterfall was an excellent payoff for the hike. Overall, couldn't recommend this more highly and would happily do another tour with California Dream Trails when next I'm in town!

5.00Our hike on the Escondido Canyon Trail to the waterfall was such a beautiful way to spend the morning! We were picked up promptly and provided a great keepsake canvas bag with snacks and water and given some history of the sites on our drive. Brianna was a knowledgeable & passionate hiking guide and made our walk interesting and allowed us to go at our own pace. I would definitely recommend California Dream Trails for your next guided visit when in Malibu. Thank you, Brianna and Levinsky!

5.00It was such a beautiful day and the trek was difficult yet manageable. Bret was a fantastic guide and helped us all along the way. It was fantastic and we would definitely recommend the trek to all visitors in the area.

From the ocean views on the ride to the trail to fun stream crossings and the gorgeous hidden waterfall that we had to ourselves, it was a highlight of our trip to CA! Our guide was kind, attentive, and fun. Whether it's an adventure for one or a group, I'd highly recommend. :)

5.00The hike was beautiful! Just a quick drive outside of the city and I found myself immersed in nature with a roaring waterfall as the reward for reaching the end of the hike. The team at California Dream Trails made everything so easy starting from the booking and our guide was so knowledgeable each step of the way. Bring some snacks to enjoy at the waterfall. Highly recommend!

5.00My wife and I went on this adventure and had a wonderful time. The ride to the hiking spot had a nice view of the ocean. The hike itself was mystical and the waterfall was breathtaking. Our guide was fun and kind. I highly recommend this hike for couples looking for a fun date, families, or solo adventurers that enjoy nice company and great views.

5.00We had the best hike with Bre! The drop off location has both a parking lot and street parking, as well as a porto potty. The hike is excellent and enjoyable, not too strenuous! We hiked during a time of year when the water was a little higher and Bre was right there assisting all of us as we went across the small streams. The waterfall is beautiful and great! Bre even took a few photos of us! She was knowledgeable and lovely to be around. Highly recommend for a fun day hike!

5.00This hike was amazing! Not only were there beautiful views, perfect weather, and fun waterfalls and streams to experience but also Bre was an incredible tour guide! She made the hike so fun and engaging, allowed time to enjoy every new area we ventured into and even provided snacks and water. I had an amazing time and can’t wait to do it again. 5.00Our instructor was knowledgeable, kind, helpful and we had the best time! She even took a few photos for us!! It was an awesome hike, not overly strenuous and fun! She helped us across the few places where the water was a little higher than usual due to the time of year we were hiking, which was great. Highly recommend.
