5.00Kostas was friendly, professional and had great stories. He took us from Nafplio to Mycenae (return) and waited for 2hrs while we explored Mycenae. Really pleased we chose to book with Kostas and we highly recommend.

The Best Way to See Mycenae and Epidaurus!

5.00We had a fantastic experience with Kostas, our taxi driver from Nafplio. His air-conditioned cab was comfortable, and he went above and beyond by also acting as a tour guide. He shared fascinating historical tidbits along the way, making the journey even more enjoyable. Kostas patiently waited for us while we explored Mycenae and even surprised us with ice-cold water afterwards. He then drove us to Epidaurus and the Treasury of Atreus, giving us plenty of time to wander through the sites. His English was excellent, and he was friendly, easygoing, and very accommodating. Highly recommended if you’re visiting the area!

5.00Kostas of Mycenae taxis was our driver but he was much more than this. Apart from being courteous and efficient, arriving when he said he would, he was also very knowledgeable of the Mycenae area and also Epidaurus. We hired him for both trips and having transported us early in the morning to the sites he waited for us on each occasion, allowing ample time to explore it. Unrequested on our part, he even provided some breakfast of spanakopita pies on one trip. He has a strong interest in archeology and has been involved in digs around the Mycenae area where he has lived all his life and hence is well informed . I highly recommend his services if you need to have private transport to the sites near Naphlio. The overall cost was 70 Euros which is good value.

5.00Kostas was an excellent driver but an even better Greek ambassador. We had just finished a long day of touring Epidavros and Mycenae archeological sites using public transit. We were hot and tired having to walk the 4 km back to our bus pickup site in Fichte. Kostas could see we were struggling and offered to drive us directly back to Nafplio. In our half hour drive he gave us a fascinating synopsis of the history of the region, both ancient and more recent. His passion for his homeland was evident and we gained just as much insight in that half hour as we had in the rest of our tour. Kostas spoke English with ease which made for a lively conversation and a quick trip. The ride was the icing on the cake of another great day in our visit to Greece. We wholeheartedly recommend Kostas’s services to any traveller exploring the region.
