5.00Arrived via cruise ship. They docked overnight in Haifa. Our guide, Dina, was at the port, with a sign with our name on it, as with disembarked. She was absolutely a delight! She took us down to Jerusalem, showed us main sites and a great view. We went down Old City and felt safe the entire time. We were able to visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, which was one of the main sites we wanted to visit. Dina was always considerate of our mobility issues. We spent the night in a hotel in the Jewish District. Again, felt safe the entire time. Dina joined us at our hotel the next morning. We visited the Western Wall and then headed north. Dina was very well informed, and we learned so much from her. The highlight of our trip was definitely being baptized in the Jordan. She had arranged a minister to meet us there. He was so awesome and made the experience something truly special. I will cherish the memories we made in Israel. Thanks Dina!
