  Last July I had the opportunity to attend a guided visit directed by the president of Casa São Roque. The house is really very beautiful and no doubt I have to congratulate you for the effort made in rehabilitating such a beautiful house and at the same time so important for the history of the city of Porto as well as the Ramos Pinto family. In its garden it is possible to observe a multiplicity of vegetation with trees over a hundred years old and Asian flowers that represent the relationship that Portugal has established with Asia since the early days of Portuguese expansion. As far as the interior of the house is concerned, it is still possible to visit the various exhibitions of contemporary art. When I visited it was possible to know the third joint exhibition of the collection of Peter Meeker and in fact some of the artists that I consider to be very important for contemporary Portuguese art namely Ana Jotta, Pedro Cabrita Reis and José Pedro Croft. I was really very pleased with the entire visit to the space as well as the care and the way the visit itself was conceived. Undoubtedly, your visit is mandatory.

  A hidden pearl in the eastern part of Porto. The restoration of the Ramos Pinto mansion is exemplary. The modern art gallery is very eclectic. We were lucky to have a guided tour by the museum director who made the experience much more enriching. Good luck for the project.
