The tour operator is not responsible for last minute, unpredictable closures, strikes or union meetings of St Peter's Basilica. Nevertheless, the tour operator will be happy to offer customers an extended tour for the remaining time.
For the 3hours, 4hours and 5hours option: During the Jubilee, if the Basilica reaches full capacity, access will unfortunately not be allowed, and this will be beyond our control. In such a case, more time will be spent inside the museums.

You will be taken to the usually packed museum entrance, where you will meet you private tour guide and, with your "skip the line" ticket, you will skip the huge entry line and access the metal detector check. All of our tour guides are local experts and have a deep knowledge in art and history. They are perfectly trained to follow your pace, assist you throughout the whole tour and guarantee you an unforgettable experience! The tour will begin in a gorgeous panoramic terrace that offers a stunning view of St. Peter's dome overlooking the Vatican gardens. 5.00What a spectacular day! We were picked up at our hotel in a beautiful Mercedes van and whisked through the streets of Rome to the Vatican where we met our incredible guide. She made our Vatican visit so smooth. She was knowledgeable, smart, and knew how to navigate every nook and cranny. I honestly don’t know how we would’ve done today without her. So grateful for the day she gave us!!

5.00Great experience. Our guide Maria was very knowledgeable about the Vatican and made sure to get us through on time. The Sistine Chapel was under partial renovation so the Last Judgment was covered.

5.00Outstanding - 100% worth it to do a private tour with Julia. Even my husband, who is a history nut, learned so much from her. No trip to Rome is complete without seeing the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. Highly recommend booking with Julia!

2.00You only see the outside of the museum and the relics, maps, tapestries. We did make a short stop inside the Sistine Chapel where there is no speaking and St. Peters where it is too busy to hear anything. We should have played out our expectations of viewing the Raphael Rooms and the rest of the museum instead of the tutorial outside. We needed to better explain and make clear our our expectations of the tour.
