Get ready for a memorable horseback ride along a winding trail through the narrows on the Red Rock Canyon floor with your experienced wranglers. Watch for wild burros, jackrabbits and desert lizards along the trail before gathering around the campfire for a true western barbeque meal.

Enjoy the real West! Ride for 90-minutes on horseback with a guide along trails like the ones cowboys rode a hundred years ago. Set your eyes on the dramatic and colorful walls of Red Rock Canyon, as well as deep gorges from high atop a desert mountain. Stop as the sun begins its daily descent, and you'll see the lights of the Las Vegas Valley far below. Ride starts about 2 hours before sunset and changes throughout the year. Then, it's back to camp beneath the moon and stars, guided by the light of the campfire, for a freshly prepared BBQ Dinner with your choice of a 16 oz. New York Strip Steak (cooked to your preference), grilled chicken, grilled salmon or vegetarian (Let us know in Special Requirements what you would like to eat). Your dinner will be served with crisp green salad with dressing, baked beans, cowboy potatoes , corn on the cob, beverages (soft drinks and water) and Cowboy S'mores for dessert! Cowboy S'mores are marshmallows sandwiched between chocolate chip cookies. They taste best when served at night around the campfire.

Sunset Horseback Ride & BBQ Dinner — An Unforgettable Experience This was truly one of the highlights of our Las Vegas trip. From the start, communication was excellent — clear, timely, and helpful prior to our visit, which made everything feel easy and well-organized. The Red Rock Canyon sunset horseback ride was absolutely breathtaking. Riding through the desert as the sun set over the canyon felt peaceful, scenic, and incredibly special. The horses were wonderful—well cared for and perfectly matched to each rider. I rode Big John and my husband rode Slim, and both were calm, steady, and a joy to ride. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable the entire time. After the ride, we enjoyed a delicious steak dinner, followed by hot chocolate and campfire s’mores as the evening cooled down. Sitting by the fire under the desert sky was the perfect ending to an already magical experience. Helpful tip for ladies: don’t bring a large purse. Personal items need to fit into a small saddle bag, and crossbody bags are not allowed to be worn during the ride. If you’re looking for an experience outside the Strip that combines natural beauty, relaxation, and unforgettable memories, this is absolutely worth it. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

It was a wonderful memory spent with some really nice people, everyone was so good!! :) I would do it again, anytime! Our tour guide and the work hands really knew what they were doing, kept everyone at easy. Dinner was really good too:)

My son and I had a blast riding the horses and taking in the scenery. Hayley was an excellent tour guide, extremely knowledgeable about the history of the ranch and the surrounding area. The dinner was better than any I had in Vegas on my entire trip.

Wonderful experience. A nice leisurely ride with beautiful views. The sweet horses do all the work, you just ride along and soak it all in. A great break from the noisy hustle and bustle of the strip. Hailey and Kate took great care of us. After our ride we had a great dinner, followed by s’mores by the fire. Highly recommend, even the teenagers liked it. We will be doing this again.

What’s a wonderful experience from transportation to Denise our tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable. Wonderful mountain views, friendly staff, well-trained horses. The dinner was exceptional. Looking forward to returning for another ride when our next trip to Vegas.

Wow! Red Rock Canyon is absolutely breathtaking! This excursion is perfect for beginners like myself and teens. We started off at the ranch with a short lesson on how to “steer” the horse. We were later assigned a horse based on your personality and anxiety level. The wranglers were very friendly, helpful, and professional. The stable of horses were so mild mannered & great listeners. We traveled through rocky terrain for 90 minutes and each of the 20+ horses definitely knew the course. I rarely had to redirect mine! I believe 3 wrangles accompanied the group, always checking in with the riders, especially children. Although the temperature dropped & rained on us halfway through our excursion, it didn’t ruin the fun! When we returned to the ranch, they had heaters ready for us, as well as hot drinks. Thank goodness because we really needed that! Shortly thereafter, we had a delicious cowboy dinner, cooked perfectly. My family & I enjoyed every minute of this and loved learning a little bit of Red Rock history.

This was a very beautiful, peaceful experience. The scenery was gorgeous. The food was cooked wonderfully. The guides were friendly and helpful and the horses were so calm and trained well. Thank you so much. This was the highlight of my birthday.
