Sake and his wife are the utmost hosts and teachers. They are obviously masters of the Sri Lankan cuisine. We learned so much- several curries, a stir fry, a condiment, and making coconut milk. They were kind and thorough. I would want to take another class with them on a repeat visit to the island.

Sajee was very friendly and funny. The dishes were delicious and the learnings about traditional Sri Lankan dishes were very insightful.

GO TO THIS COOKING CLASS! We learnt so much about the spices, techniques, how to make coconut milk to name only a few. We loved it and had so much fun - also had the delicious dinner after. Sajee and Suzy were so friendly and informative. Thank you for a brilliant memorable experience :)

Clear explanations about herbs and ingredients and how to cook them. We made a lot of different dishes. Which tasted really nice! The cooking class takes a long time (about 4 hours), but you can help a lot with the cooking. We would highly recommend!

Sajee and Suzy are both very nice and speak English very well. They want to tell you everything about Sri Lankan cuisine, spices and why you use them. The kitchen was clean and tidy and everyone can really actively participate. Highly recommended!

Outstanding experience. Best Cooking Class I have done. Amazing dishes cooked, fantastic tips, techniques and recipes shared. Run by a fantastic couple who are excellent at their craft. Highly recommended.

what a wonderful three hours. Sajee and his wife gave us the authentic experience creating an array of dishes. He took us through options to recreate these in our own country and let us work through levels of spice to suit our western palate. Warm and friendly it was like cooking at home, creating the best meal you've ever eaten.
