3-hour tour: To explore Mercado Modelo, plan your tour during its hours: Mon-Sat 9 am–6 pm or Sun 9 am–2 pm, ensuring this vibrant market is part of your experience!
This is a moderately-paced walking tour covering approximately 25-35 minutes on foot, including some uneven surfaces or steps. The guide will adjust the pace to suit your group.
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and dressing appropriately for the weather, rain or shine!

Attraction tickets, food and drinks are not included in the price.
To ensure a quality experience, we limit your group size to 1-25 guests per guide. We will arrange additional guides for larger groups, so the price will be higher.

5.00From the moment Maria greeted me with her warm “bom dia,” I knew I was in great hands. She’s everything you want in a guide; knowledgeable, kind, funny, and full of positive energy. As we walked through the streets of Pelourinho, she brought the history to life in a way that was both informative and deeply personal. I never once felt rushed or like I was just part of a “tour.” She made the whole day feel like I was exploring with a local friend who truly loves her city. Maria made Salvador unforgettable. I can’t recommend her enough!
