What makes this experience unique is the combination of Madeira’s incredible volcanic underwater landscapes and our personalized approach.
We are a mobile diving center, which means we choose dive sites according to sea conditions and the best experience for the day — from volcanic walls and underwater caves to lava canyons and rich marine life.
To ensure safety, comfort and a relaxed atmosphere, each guide leads a maximum of 5 divers. For larger groups, we simply add more professional guides, allowing everyone to dive together while maintaining a personalized experience.
Divers regularly encounter groupers, stingrays, octopus, moray eels and large schools of fish in crystal-clear Atlantic waters.
More than just a dive, this is an authentic and unforgettable way to explore Madeira’s hidden underwater world.

Your experience starts with a relaxed briefing where we cover safety procedures, dive conditions, and the plan for exploring the site. Each dive is adapted to the location and the experience level of the group, ensuring a safe, comfortable and unforgettable adventure underwater. We then head to one of Madeira’s most spectacular dive sites, famous for crystal-clear waters, volcanic walls, underwater caves, lava canyons and incredible marine life. Throughout the dive, you’ll be guided by experienced professionals while exploring dramatic underwater landscapes shaped by volcanic activity over thousands of years. As you move through swim-throughs, rock formations and deep blue drop-offs, you may encounter groupers, stingrays, octopus, moray eels, schools of barracuda and many other fascinating Atlantic species that make every dive unique. After the dive, we debrief, share the experience and enjoy the atmosphere above the surface, making sure you leave with incredible memories and a deeper connection to the ocean. 5.00This was my best experience in a diving center. João really wanted to make us to have a good experience. He helped us with everything, the communication with him was perfect and heeven took severam pictures of us during the divings for free. Also, he brought some tea and cookies for us between the dives. In Dive Around Madeira you are not just a customer, you are like a friend. Thank you João for everything.

5.00Diving with João here was an incredibly beautiful experience that I would highly recommend. You feel welcome, and the atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. Everything is organized, and you can fully concentrate on diving. I find the underwater rock formations with their plants and sea creatures here truly unique, and it has been one of my favorite diving spots so far. We are coming back this year :)

5.00I completed the open water course with Joao, and it was truly excellent. He has extensive knowledge, conveys calmness at all times, and is very nice. Additionally, he speaks Spanish very well. I recommend him 100% (plus, the prices are economical compared to others I saw on the island).

5.00Ive already done a few dives with João and already had experience with another companies. And there is no comparison. João’s passion for diving is amazing. He’s that guide that is allways by your side and does everything according to your pace. Diving in Madeira is an amazing experience. Diving with João is priceless. And with him, it’s impossible to not fall in love with scuba diving!
