5.00I joined a secret places walking tour in Edinburgh and it was a really great experience. The tour covers some of the main areas of the city, but what makes it special is that the guide also shows places that are genuinely hidden. We walked around the Old Town near Royal Mile, but also went through tiny closes, hidden courtyards, and small passages that most people would simply walk past without noticing. Some of the spots were really well hidden and I would never have found them on my own. The guide was friendly and shared interesting stories about the city’s history and some lesser-known facts about Edinburgh. If you enjoy discovering places that are a bit off the usual tourist route, this tour is definitely worth doing. It shows a different side of the city.
