British weather can be variable and so guests are advised to check the weather forecast and dress appropriately. It is recommended to bring some warm clothes with you especially in the winter months and layers are good for adapting to the ever-changing weather conditions. It is a good idea to wear appropriate footwear as there is walking involved on our tours. England is known for its rain so it is advisable to bring a waterproof jacket or umbrella with you.

5.00We had a great tour. Amber and Terry were great team and worked well together. The tour to Cogges farm, Highclere Castle and the town of Bampton was great. Amber pointed out every screen, setup the shot for us and discussed the characters in Downton Abby. She is entertaining, engaging and delight to be part of her tour. Terry had one issue when the van won’t start. He quickly resolved it, let us know the issues, and didn’t lose one minute of our tour. They were fantastic even in crises situation. Loved the tour.

5.00This was a fantastic tour; however it was made exceptional by our guide Amber. Her knowledge of The Downton Abbey show and the pictures and stories set the stage for every stop along our journey. I can say it was about a 10 1/2 hour day but so worth it. Highclere Castle, the Cogges farm, Brampton village, all the stops in between and an Egyptian exhibition in the basement to boot were just amazing! Amber was the quintessential tour guide, keeping up with our flock of attendees, getting to know everyone, ensuring safety and accessibility and making the trip fun, memorable and very educational. One of the best day excursions ever!

5.00That was very interesting to see inside the castle. I enjoyed our stop at the farm. We also stopped in Bampton Village that was interesting and our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Her name was Ginny. If you were lucky enough to get one of the spots on this tour., it is expensive, but we really enjoyed it and we’re so grateful we got to go.
