This is the only shark tour in the USA and to our knowledge the only tour where guests do not get in the water to view the sharks. Delight in close-up views of sharks and a variety of other marine life. In this eco-friendly catamaran, travel through shallow waters to a location a few miles from shore, observing dolphins, stingrays, barracudas and native birds along the way. Bait is used to attract lemon, nurse and other types of sharks to the side of the boat. After check-in, the Tiger Cat will cruise through Key West harbor on the way to the Key West National Wildlife Refuge. Here guests will see numerous sharks and a variety of wildlife including dolphin.
Key West
Travel through shallow water close to mangrove islands as you make your way about 4 miles (6.4 km) away from shore to the shark viewing site. Along the way, keep your eyes open for dolphin, sea turtles, stingrays, barracudas, tarpon and an array of native birds. Listen to your experienced pilot discuss the delicate ecosystem of this area and its abundance of wildlife. Enjoy complimentary water, soda, juice — as well as the use of polarized sunglasses — during your trip. When you arrive at the shark destination, get ready for an unforgettable experience! Your pilot will use bait to draw a host of sharks that swim right up to the boat so you and your family can observe them in safety and comfort. See numerous lemon and nurse sharks, and watch out for bull, black tip and hammerhead sharks during nearly one hour of shark viewing. Capture dramatic photos you can't wait to share with family and friends.

5.00This was a fantastic tour that lasts about 2 hours and is pleasant and exciting boat ride out of key west. These operators are professionals who provide access to sharks nearly 100% of the time. You will get up close and personal with the sharks because this company has worked for 17 years to condition the sharks to show up for the tour. They are also funny and entertaining - and we saw lots of dolphins as well. They are professional and hilarious - you will have a great time! Book this tour. Parking is close and easy.

5.00Went on a morning trip with my daughter on Dec. 27th. It was a very relaxing trip and we were able to learn quite a bit about sharks and dolphins and the ecosystem around the Keys. The crew was perfect and made sure everyone on board had plenty of time to see the action and get photos and video. You can tell this family business loves wildlife.

5.00The shark tour was fun and informative. We did the 10 am tour and the boat ride was a little chilly so I definitely suggest wearing a sweatshirt during the colder months. We saw lots of sharks and the view of the island from the boat was beautiful.

5.00My husband and I went on this tour 13 years ago and said when back in Key West we have to take our kids. Our original captains were the father and uncle of our captain today. What very nice and memorable people. So fun getting up close with these beautiful sharks. I can’t take credit for these pictures. They are screenshots off of the guide’s go pro. So nice to provide that footage to us. What an amazing experience!! Thank you!

5.00This was a great tour that was both fun and informative. It was super convenient to get off our cruise ship and have this leave out of the marina right there. Both Captain Clay (his majesty) and Captain Tanner were great with guests and made sure everyone had a good view and a good time. They were very sweet to my daughter who got to feed the sharks. We had three generations of family members and everyone enjoyed it.

5.00Great time last week with Captain Clay and his colleague. Clay was terrific - we almost missed the trip due to an emergency visit to the Key West ER two hours before, and Clay was most understanding. But, we made it, and delighted we did! Amazing interaction with sharks, a couple of dolphin sightings, wonderful to be on the water, and Clay was most entertaining. Everyone who wanted had a chance to feed the sharks, was amazing to watch their interaction, and appreciated the deep knowledge Clay and his colleague demonstrated about the wildlife.
