Visiting three different dive sites you'll discover the abundant marine life and diversity of coral which the Great Barrier Reef is world-famous for.
The friendly crew will be happy to answer any questions you have throughout the day. The boat features full bar facilities, fresh water showers and expansive sundecks overlooking the Coral Sea. A tropical buffet lunch will be served between sites, along with morning and afternoon tea.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Minimum age for introductory scuba diving is 12 years. All diving participants will be required to complete a health questionaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
After a single dive, a wait of 12 hours is recommended before flying. If doing multiple dives, an interval of 24 hours is recommended.
Between July 27th and October 18th, 2025, Silversonic will be temporarily operated by our vessel, Poseidon..

Silversonic Dive & Snorkel
Your day begins with pickup from your Port Douglas hotel. The fastest ride out to the reef from Port Douglas, the ultra modern 29 meter catamaran will be your base for the day. Throughout the day you'll visit three locations on Agincourt Reef, each showcasing a different aspect of the beautiful Great Barrier Reef. The cruise has exclusive access to 22 premier internationally recognised reef sites and you have the choice to snorkel, dive or a combination of both. The friendly crew will be happy to answer any questions you have throughout the day. The boat features full bar facilities, fresh water showers and expansive sundecks overlooking the Coral Sea. A tropical buffet lunch will be served between sites, along with morning and afternoon tea.
Agincourt Reef
Agincourt Reef sits at the very edge of the Great Barrier Reef, a ribbon reef running parallel to the Continental Shelf. There is a multitude of marine life at Agincourt Reef, from tiny iridescent fish seeking shelter in their coral homes to massive giant clams weighing up to 200 kilograms (440 pounds).

5.00One of the best boats weve been on and weve been on loads throughout the world! Plenty of friendly staff, very knowledgeable, lets you go off on a buddy system to explore the reefs and tell you exactly where the best spots are! Full catering on board with topnotch spread o cold meat, prawns salad fruit, hot meal of beef ! Excellent photographer on board with reasonably priced pics to buy! We saw turtles sharks so many fish, coral is outstandingly beautiful and colourful and sooooo big! Our diving instructor was so good! Simon youve sold the kids to do their padi courses! Such a lovely day!

5.00Originally booked diving but alas could not due to asthma restrictions. However had a fantastic day and saw as much with a snorkel as you would have done diving anyway. 3 beautiful and different sites. Highlights were reef shark, Nemo, dory and parrot fish. Like being in a fish tank of stunning coral. Lovely food for lunch. Great company and very well run. Even managed to swim.down to a giant clam

5.00The crew on our trip to the Great Barrier Reef were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. The team on board was fantastic – professional, relaxed and always happy to help. The snorkelling spots were absolutely beautiful. A really great trip that we would happily do again. Just have to go! 5.00What an absolutely amazing experience! All of the crew were extremely friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. A special shout out to Faye who was our guide for the dive - we were very nervous about doing it but she made us feel extremely safe and took extra care to make sure we had the best time. I don’t think we would have done the dive without her and it was the best thing we did on the Great Barrier Reef. We saw lots of fish and the reef looked incredible. We can’t recommend this enough

5.00Amazing trip at the GBR! We spent sometimes snorkelling but the highlight was our introductory dive with our amazing instructor Maddy! Maddy was such a good teacher and made us feel safe the whole time. We liked it so much we did another dive in the afternoon! We were all so excited to see the reef, a shark, clown fish and more.
A must do for everyone!

5.00A great day and experience! Moni was the best instructor and as it was my first time diving put me at ease! The crew were great from start to finish - from Scottie to the Canadian scouser! If you do one trip to the barrier reef make sure this one is it!
