The friendly crew will be happy to answer any questions you have throughout the day. The boat features full bar facilities, fresh water showers and expansive sundecks overlooking the Coral Sea. A tropical buffet lunch will be served between sites, along with morning and afternoon tea.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Minimum age for introductory scuba diving is 12 years. All diving participants will be required to complete a health questionaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
After a single dive, a wait of 12 hours is recommended before flying. If doing multiple dives, an interval of 24 hours is recommended.

Silversonic Dive & Snorkel
Your day begins with pickup from your Port Douglas hotel. The fastest ride out to the reef from Port Douglas, the ultra modern 29 meter catamaran will be your base for the day. Throughout the day you'll visit three locations on Agincourt Reef, each showcasing a different aspect of the beautiful Great Barrier Reef. The cruise has exclusive access to 22 premier internationally recognised reef sites and you have the choice to snorkel, dive or a combination of both. The friendly crew will be happy to answer any questions you have throughout the day. The boat features full bar facilities, fresh water showers and expansive sundecks overlooking the Coral Sea. Agincourt Reef
Agincourt Reef sits at the very edge of the Great Barrier Reef, a ribbon reef running parallel to the Continental Shelf. There is a multitude of marine life at Agincourt Reef, from tiny iridescent fish seeking shelter in their coral homes to massive giant clams weighing up to 200 kilograms (440 pounds).

5.00Amazing trip at the GBR! We spent sometimes snorkelling but the highlight was our introductory dive with our amazing instructor Maddy! Maddy was such a good teacher and made us feel safe the whole time. We liked it so much we did another dive in the afternoon! We were all so excited to see the reef, a shark, clown fish and more.
A must do for everyone!

5.00A great day and experience! Moni was the best instructor and as it was my first time diving put me at ease! The crew were great from start to finish - from Scottie to the Canadian scouser! If you do one trip to the barrier reef make sure this one is it!

5.00Awesome time, we stopped at 3 locations on the reef. We booked the introduction to scuba and we got to dive 2 times, the first dive was learning what to do and the 2nd dive was 50 minutes of just exploring while scuba diving. Very very fun, our instructor was awesome. The ride out to the reef was about an hour and a half, take sea sick tablets if you get sick because you lose sight of land for a large chunk of the ride.

5.00Already at the reception, the staff was charming, very professional and gave a good and smiling feeling. The messages were short, to the point and with humor. It seems that the dynamics between the staff members are very good, which gave us the guests a good experience. Even in the water, explanations were given by the expert Hadar. The lunch was wonderful and satisfying, especially for a vegetarian like me. Highly recommend everything. It was a unique and unforgettable day.

5.00An Unforgettable Day on the Reef! We had an incredible day visiting three different reef sites—each one offering vibrant coral and a huge variety of marine life. The snorkeling was outstanding, with crystal-clear visibility and plenty of fish to see. What really made the day special was the crew: so helpful, friendly, and professional. The marine biologist on board was a standout—super knowledgeable and passionate, and made the whole experience even more educational and enjoyable. Highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to experience the Great Barrier Reef at its best!

5.00I took the provided bus up from Cairns, did three guided dives, and had a wonderful time! I have done it before and I will do it again! The crew is always charming and professional. My dive master, Lilly, was my dive buddy and could not have been better at either of those tasks. I saw things I've had never seen before, and I've been diving for many years now. I highly recommend it!

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our day at the reef on Silversonic! All the staff were fantastic, the food, equipment and service excellent and the reef itself with abundance of fish completely beautiful. Gordon went out of his way to look after us and brought a great sense of humour to the experience.
