4.00Honourable reflection of the fall of Singapore and the history of the allied POW internment. As a family member of a POW it was an emotional journey for me and a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by the service men and women that has contributed to our fortunate way of life.

4.00The Ambassador Lounge, which we selected from a choice of three options with Viator was an excellent choice. Not super busy at the time we were there (0600-0800 hrs). Good number of showers, well presented, with hairdryers on hand. Seating in lounge comfortable and food options more than adequate. Kitchen staff good, but could have been a little more attentive to replacing hot food trays, which were empty. The toaster had a broken element so bread only toasting one side (small thing as I just turned the bread over and ran it through again). Guest services very efficient and pleasant - check in seamless. Overall a very nice experience. Viator provided a great service, but delivery of the access QR code to the lounge just two days before travel did make us a little nervous.

3.00First experience at using a lounge at Singapore airport for a 6 hour in transit wait. Chose a lounge option using Viator. I got a bit stressed following instructions, downloading app and waiting for QR code to be sent at the last minute. The lounge itself was easy to find, limited number of showers (first in best dressed policy) threadbare towel provided. No bath mat. Toilet didn’t operate in bathroom, leaving only 2 toilets available. Food average. Not really good value for money, but don’t regret our decision to use a lounge for tge 6 hour layover. (WiFi access was very good & ample charging stations)
