  Tourist trap for cruisers. We drive here from our resort for young kids Decent production but I would have liked to have atleast one real person dressed as a pirate. It was all a walk thru room to room with projector video in a few rooms. Gift shop and a bar on roof with no shade, very hot and the rum punch did not taste like there was any alcohol in it. If you’re stranded in phillipsbrug and need to run for cover n entertain young kids go for it. The biggest pro to me was good AC while walking thru the rooms

  The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The presentation was well done and very entertaining as well. The bar on top of of the tour had an excellent rum punch that was included with the tour.

  One of the funnest experiences we had in St. Maarten! The whole experience was creative and fun. Plus, the hand-crafted rum was excellent. If you are looking for something unique and filled with history and a great story, GO!!

  We had walked from the cruise port to here, which was a nice half way point to the downtown area. This was a really well done pirate story with a bar on the roof with great views. I was with family, which included 3 generations. The youngest being 11 years old & the oldest was 72 and we all enjoyed it. They also had wi-fi which the 15 year old loved. The experience also included drinks at the bar, Rum Punch for the adults & Punch for the kids, which were refreshing in the heat. I would recommend this experience to others going to St. Maarten.

  This was fine, but I don't understand all the 5 star reviews saying this was the best thing ever. We were expecting more of an interactive experience, instead it's just 5 rooms with little shows that you walk through. It's not bad, it's well done and a nice break from the heat outside, but it's over priced for what it is. Little kids would probably really enjoy this, I have a pre-teen who liked it, but wasn't super impressed. The rooftop deck is nice. You get a nice breeze and can relax for a bit. I'm glad we did this, but I'm still disappointed in how much I paid for how little I got. You win some, you lose some.

  maybe once a month I love to take a tour to the Rusty Parrot! This time I took my friend from the BVI who is a real Sailboat lover! It was his first time coming to the rusty parrot and he was mind blown! The size of this Ship! And how cool how they decorated it was outstanding. I personally had seen it many times before and loved to go once in a while for a drink ( or two😏) I still take the tour when I bring somebody with. And everyone Is still be amazed by how nice everything is put together! The story, the sound effect, the decoration, and ending in such a cool souvenirs shop that has a lot of different souvenirs than other places to offer. Plus the very friendly staff who are always putting a little act on to give you the real experience. We finished with a nice beverage on the rooftop! With this outstanding view all over the capital of the dutch size: Phillipsburg. This time there were many big mega yachts lying around which were really incredible to watch as wel! Truly felt as we were surrounded by the pirates of the Caribbean!. I love how Sint Maarten has so many different places to offer for all sorts of people! This is truly one of them! Fun for family, friends, young or old. And a very reasonable price too! I imagine coming from the cruise ship, this will be a nice affordable excursion to do! Also really like to support this fabulous excursion, knowing that they didn’t have a easy start ( with the hurricane & COVID) but they still going strong like really pirates! See you soon, rusty parrot! Thanks for the memories!

  We walked from icon of the seas.. This Is a nice quick trip. Learn about Pirate history and we received free eye patch for children and great rooftop with play area. We then took a short walk to the beach

  The experience was a good mixture of history and pirate storytelling. I wish that my grandchildren had been with us. They would have have been thrilled with the animation.

  Its such an amazing experience. If you’ve been there you want to be a pirat! Its an creative attraction and at the end you can take a drink at the nice rooftop bar with a great view! With or without kids its a amazing thing to do when youre at Sint Maarten.
