Spend a full day in the Vesuvian area visiting the archaeological site of Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius.
Departing early in the morning we'll avoid the traffic and crowds ensuring a priority arrival at a destination and a unique experience!
With a shared group, you will enjoy a guided tour of Pompeii of 2 hours 30 min and then be taken up to 1000m of Mount Vesuvius, take the last 200m by foot up to the top, here you can stare down into the mouth of the volcano and then take in the breathtaking 360 degree panorama of the surrounding areas.

Group tour not suitable for cruise passengers
Skip the line option cannot be accommodated on the 1st Sunday of the month as in Pompeii no skip-the-line tickets can be purchased.

Archaeological Park of Pompeii
Pompeii is a vast archaeological site in southern Italy’s Campania region, near the coast of the Bay of Naples. Once a thriving and sophisticated Roman city, Pompeii was buried under meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The preserved site features excavated ruins of streets and houses that visitors can freely explore.

4.00I am removing a star because the company contacted us a few weeks before the tour date to move our tour date to the following day due to low season and low demand. The experience itself was very good. We enjoyed seeing Pompeii with our local guide Mimi. He was very knowledgeable, answered questions and had good energy. Vesuvius was also very good and we were lucky to have great views. The management of tour timing by Roberto was very good.

5.00Mimi was an excellent guide at Pompeii, hugely knowledgeable, warm, funny and able to provide interesting details without overwhelming. Robbie oversaw the whole day with professionalism and humour. He has a wealth of knowledge in the geography , history and culture of the area as well as expertise on Vesuvius - which he shared with enthusiasm. Our driver Stephano was polite and efficient, navigating the tricky roads with ease. Spotless vehicle too. We were lucky with a clear day in March. A fantastic day for the family who lived climbing an actual volcano!

5.00Roberto and Roberta were wonderful. Both knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend to others. Only note would be for communication between the tour and Vesuvius when poor weather is approaching. We traveled to the top to be turned away due to rain.

5.00We visited Pompei and Vesuvius on a lovely winter's day (early December) with few crowds to deal with. We were transported to and from Sorrento in a very comfortable van, in a small group, and enjoyed the insights from the guides.

5.00Pompeii was amazing…lifelong bucket list item and did not disappoint. Both our guides, Roberto and Lulu were amazing. Learned so much about Pompeii and the region. We made it up to Vesuvius but the entrance to the top was closed unfortunately…not to the fault of our tour, we appreciated their effort. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

5.00This was an awesome way to see both Pompeii and Vesuvius in one day. Our tour guide Louisa was wonderful and full of knowledge. The climb up Vesuvius is exhilarating but be aware that it is a steep climb, so wear the right shoes and pace yourself. You’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the crater, Naples, and the Mediterraneans Sea when you reach the top. Also, there are no restrooms anywhere on the mountain, so make sure you go before the bus ride.

5.00This is incredible!! Seeing Pompeii is my favorite part of my trip - it’s amazing to see. The tour guide did a great job explaining all the history. Definitely recommend this tour!

3.00I would recommend a self guided Pompeii tour with audio guide. Our tour guide LuLu preferred stand and talk versus walk and explore. We could have seen so much more on our own with the limited time we had. Too many references to Mickey Mouse and other nonsensical comments as though we were a 3rd grade class.
