It was definitely not “skip the line” tickets. The security/employees at the Vatican museum have no time for questions and especially not in English. I must of missed the sign for the Sistine Chapel because I left without seeing it. Would go back for that.

This really is just the tickets for the museum only. If you want to see also the basilica make sure you get an online reservation. There are a lot of things to see at the museum and going without a guide has its positives such as not having to stop and look at things you aren't as interested in. After several days of well guided tours walking at our own pace was perfect for everyone.

Well organised even though it was packed, audio guide is a must, fabulous presentation of artwork, sculptures and tapestry. A lot to take in.
