I would choose another tour operater. I’ve done many tours in the past and this one was bland and while I took an English tour, and am proficient in English and Italian, I couldn’t understand the broken Chinese/italian/english ally of the time. I could hear what other tour operators were saying to their groups, giving wonderful tips and interesting information. While ours said things like - this is an animal statue room. Super bland. Absolutely not worth €135 for such a big group.

Exploring the Vatican alone can be exheusting. This guided tour solved everything. We skipped the line and were led through key galleries efficiently. Our guide expleined the meaning behind the art and architecture, giving it all new life. A great way to make the most of limited time in Rome.

This tour helped us beat the chaos and focus on what really matters—art and history. The fast-track ticket saved tons of time. The guide was brilliant, walking us through highlights of the Vatican Museums and giving valuable context we would have missed. A well-paced, informative experience. We saw a lot without feeling rushed.

I’ve done many Viator tours. This was the worst and was misrepresented. Didn’t even include St. Peter’s or the square.

The building you meet at felt odd, like I thought it was a currency exchange place with the ATM out front. Then for the tour, we just had a bleh time. He took us to the museum but then left before the sistene chapel. He did tell us where to go for the basilica, but I think next time I’ll look for a tour guide for that experience as well, as I saw others in the basilica with their tour guides. Maybe it’s personal preference but I prefer when a tour guide gives us a ton of facts, especially during the waiting times. Other than that, the tour guide was very nice and very knowledgeable when telling stories. He was also very kind to everyone in the group and was easy to understand.

We were brought to the Vatican by someone who was not our tour guide and handed off to an elderly man on crutches. He said he uses them to skip the long line but he in fact needed them. We explained to him that we only had 1 afternoon in Rome, so after an hour of our tour and seeing almost nothing we parted ways to continue the tour ourselves. We still tipped the man for his time and he was just rude. I paid over $300 for this experience. It may have been a fantastic tour if we had a different guide.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about art and particularly Vatican art. She offered perspectives that were extremely appreciated by someone who loves art.

Great tour with a great tour guide! I missed her name. (she uses a Minnie Mouse cloth as a flag) She was so knowledgable of all of the history here and she kept us entertained with her anecdotes. The tour had so much information and there was so much to see.

Although very hot as well as a very busy day our guide did not seem to consider how uncomfortable it was. Never asked if anyone needed water or needed the restrooms. Just went through her tuned out routine.
